There was nothing questionable about the Lawler/Koscheck stoppage

koscheck was mounting no offense, and his head bounced like a basketball at one point.

just because you are not out does not mean that you should be allowed to take unnecessary damage. koscheck could have likely lost consciousness had lawler hit him for a few more seconds.

Rogan has a tendency to rob fighters glory during their deserved victories. Robbier/Kos was just one example, another huge one was Wandy/Cung.

rogan allows the fan in himself to take over in the commentary.

it's a really bad trait that he has when calling fights.

It looked like a good stoppage, but in hindsight Kos was fine afterwards. However, if it had continued I don't think Kos could've done anything to stop those strikes. He would've suffered more unnecessary damage. So yeah, Herb could've let it go on, but the end result would've been the same

It was a mercy stoppage. Exactly like Robbie said he would have just got more of a beating. Koscheck should count himself lucky. I don't like the guy at all but even I would have felt bad for him if that had continued for much longer.

I would simply be intimidated of Robbie because I know he can beat me up.. And I am 225 and have trained lol

BUt we should not forget that Kos had SERIOUS health problems from getting jis orbit all smashed up in the GSP fight.. After something like that your body can just say "we arent going through that again" and sut down if you start getting punched.
