Social Justice fatigue is a real thing, and its a good thing.

The people who get fatigued are those who grew up with certain privileges (most of us) and are told that social justice is a good thing, without having to go through any of the negative experiences.
Lots of people first get fatigued by the message before realizing how important the message is, without simply being told.


These kids "know" racism is bad, because they were classically trained about it, without ever having to go through it. It still doesnt mean they know how bad it is.
It takes a lot of media and social media movement for them to stop and really reflect on it.

See I don't disagree with this but to be honest with you as a black man, I'm tired of being pandered to by White Leftists. People are fatigued by all the social justice talk because it's just more of the same marching, protesting, rioting, looting, hash tagging, and social media posts on Facebook and IG. Just more and more of the same type of things we've been seeing for years now and no one really wants to change things.

It was hard coming to this realization after having to face racism myself for years but I've just come to the conclusion that people have their own lives and will eventually look out for themselves. And that's what the Black community needs to do at this point. If people know what's going on and still choose not to care, there is really nothing else to say at this point.

As far as BLM goes, they are now sponsored by Fortune 500 companies who will probably do very little to help black lives. They just have to grandstand so they won't get called out for racism. I actually prefer the people that don't give a shit about social justice or BLM. At least they are being honest

I had never heard of this before. But my bank is acting like they always celebrated this holiday.

I didn’t get to go to work today, you know why, blm decided to have another protest in downtown Los Angeles. These people (liberals) are only hurting themselves, most people do not, and should not feel guilty about their skin color, including white people. That is the irony of this situation. The cop is a murderer no doubt and he may have been found to be racist now because im not 100% all over this case but the honest answer is people saw his white skin, saw an interaction and prejudged him as a racist. Which is racist. And then statistics take it further showing things such as more unarmed whites a year killed than blacks, youre more likely to be killed by an officer who is the same skin color as you, etc.

This should be about police brutality but its been hijacked. Im sure most people wouldn't care if it accomplished the goal of fixing the police but the whole country is on fire and people tore down a George Washington statue. Sad
