So, I guess the name “Juneteenth” is the actual permanent name of the holiday?
 
I'm all for a new holiday but I wish it was celebrated around March-April. Lack of holiday around that time of year imo and we're stuck waiting for Memorial Day after New Years.
 
You think that’s bad, try living in Los Angeles with these people. Some of my white friends have lost their minds and think everyone is a racist, then you have black folks saying they can’t be racist. I mean it’s insane, they call everyone racist and then turn around and demand more rights then everyone else. This is a country of 330 million people, 9 black men were shot by the police this year. That means statistically speaking, no one died. Total bs and this is the beginning of Soviet style communism.

I refuse to take part. I no longer social media. I've lost friends to this insanity because I can't believe how programmed they are.

Same boat. Ive stopped trying to reason with the indoctrinated as well. Theyre mentally suffocated and dont even realize it. Fucking brilliant play by the players behind the scenes. Gotta tear shit down to rebuild it. Sherdog is social media. Just the way it should be imo.

This is a little nutty:
So I wanted to let my son watch Short Circuit because we had just watched Uncle Buck. Short Circuit was the next one that came to mind.

I was chatting with a friend of mine from another city and told him how my son and I were going to watch Short Circuit to which he replied “That’s a weird coincidence... I just rented it last night to watch again”

Where do you work? We get Martin Luther King Jr./Robert E. Lee Day (has the latter been cancelled yet?) in mid to late January and President’s Day in February.
 
I work at a large bank and just this year they started focusing on Juneteenth.
I had never heard of this before. But my bank is acting like they always celebrated this holiday.

If you want to start focusing on it... fine, go ahead. But to play it up as “business as usual everyone.. let’s start the Juneteenth festivities!!”
