Sig for 3 months, and you're on. I note, though, that wai wanted to bet against the idea that she'd win.

Missed this earlier because I had been ignoring you, but wai's comments suggested that you bit.

Sig (no AV). And let's make the definition of "be in the ... race" clear.

You guys have to form the proposal in this thread and then I’ll review it. 3 months max bet based on your account at the moment.
Here you go.
Bet terms are simple. The premise is that even if the current proceedings don't result in conviction in the Senate because they're a bunch of spineless traitors to their country, enough damage has been done that he won't win re-election.

Accordingly, I say Trump will not be POTUS once the 2020 US election becomes official. If he is removed before that I win. If he's not removed and dies in office the bet is nullified. If he wins and the results are later overturned by a court you pay double.
Sig bet 3 mo.

If you agree, quote this and tag Lead and he can make it official in the bet thread.

Be in the race means she files to enter primaries or delegates vote for her at the dnc convention.

I’m disappointed by the lack of AV. That was my primary motivation here.

So like if one delegate votes for her, that's a win for you?

Only @Ruprecht on his 386 and weirdos who use their smartphone sideways even see sigs.

Wat.

Edit: motherfucker, how did I not know this?

@Richie Madano Of course, taking into account that immediately after the election the incumbent is still technically the president until the winner of the election is sworn in, I hope we're not going to have an argument about technicalities with my obvious intent, are we?

Nope. I expect a clean victory.

Looks like Jack has taken a pass. Any other takers on my Hillary enters the race bet?

Hillary won't enter the race, but I think you're being kind of unreasonable. Anyway, I thought you might be willing to bet on what wai was trying to get you to bet on.

I'll make a bet with wai if I have to. I prefer to bet with you because you are undefeated. Wai has already lost before, and has double yellow cards, which makes me nervous. I am trying to be flexible here and have made accommodations on every point you've raised. I'm not sure what more I can do here?

It's your call, of course.

The key points for me is that I want a sig bet, and I don't want a situation where I lose even if she's not running because of some technicality.

Wai was trying to get you to bet that Clinton would actually be the nominee, which is something I think has essentially no chance of happening.

Alright we can do a sig bet. I don't want to win on a technicality. I believe she will either enter the race by filing with the FEC or be pushed at a brokered convention. 300 delegates is a push. I have never argued that she will win the dem nomination, which is why I have turned down any bet asking for that.

OK, you do you want to do the whole official construction? I'm down for this.
