3.6 Billion from money for military construction projects
So the source of the funding is at least accurate
Having the wall funded from a slice of the massively bloated defense portion of the budget (without increasing that portion) has always ever been the only way I was ok with the idea of Trump's wall. All that money isn't doing us much good anyway and is just a waste, at least using some for a border wall will have some slight positive effect for Americans

Someone will bring a legal challenge to his emergency declaration and they will probably do it in the 9th circuit because it is uber liberal and they will side with the plaintiff against Trump. It will then make its way up to SCOTUS and will then get a final ruling.

Court system will be the check on this. Court mandated stay on any construction work or land seizure until a formal ruling will be the first move I would wager

Well, it took a little longer than I expected, but I hope it is finally becoming apparent just how much long term damage electing Trump is going to do to the US. Enjoy that total erosion of the democratic process, folks. Talk about your slippery slopes.
