So Trump wants to have the government involved in dozens of lawsuits regarding eminent domain? Not to mention the lawsuits that will come from the left and possibly the border states as well. All this to fulfill a nonsensical campaign promise.

Americans whose loved ones have been killed by illegal aliens flooded into the office with questions as to why their many requests for meetings with the Speaker went unanswered. There is a cartel war on the border, even though it has calmed a bit recently. Illegal immigration is a HUGE one, even though many are visa overstays. Fleeing criminals, MS13, drugs, guns, children, everything man.

An unsecured border that has several humanitarian crisis's and violence is a perfectly valid reason for any executive to declare a national emergency.
