I guess that explains the terrible reviews for the new Jurassic Park too, that movie kicks ass and I couldnt understand why it got so much hate, now I get it

I just finished it, and as soon as mu xbox session with my nephew is over, I'm starting it again.

Great acting, great script, amazing editing and violence.

Good show. It's not going to change TV, but it's a fun ride if you're seeking a simple revenge thriller that's exactly as it's advertised. Pop open a cold one and enjoy. Pratt turns in a pretty solid performance. Kitsch was cool as well, it's been a while since I've seen him .

I know it's based on some books, but it could just as easily be called Punisher. Just pretend his name is Frank Castle.
 
This was a great show. A good conspiracy/revenge thriller. Thought Chris Pratt was great. Of course, I’ve always been a fan. Going to read the books now.

Also, fuck the critics

Watched last night n this morning. Was actually pretty decent n played alot like the movie "Man on Fire". Just a 8 episode series. AtcfirstcI didn't like Pratt in the role of cold hearted revenge killer (like Denzel in Man on Fire) . He started to win me over a little he's no Denzel but he did a lot better thsn I thought he might.

If you liked Man on fire maybe check this out. Despite what critics said it wasn't that bad.

I liked it a lot. that's a good analogy to "Man on Fire." I got a "Shooter" vibe, and even a little "Rambo." It started out a little slow, but got better with every episode. I don't know how they'll turn it in to multiple seasons, but Carr has 5 or 6 books with James Reece as the main protagonist, so I'm guessing there's more to come.

So how do you like it? I watched 1 episode and am very bored. Will continue watching but feels like 1 of 20 shows with the same flavour.
 
Thought it was decent. Kept my interest throughout.

It's a fun show, I'm not mental about it but I like it. Has a Castle type feel which I like.
 
Fuck this show. I wanted to like it and I don't care that it's not woke or revenge porn or whatever

What has me pissed is that I really like these books and this is not what happened. Reese is not ptsded out , does not have memory problems and has a lot more personality than I feel like Pratt is giving him .

Not happy with what they did with Jack carrs story at all.

Have none of you people read the book?

Yeah, I don't trust modern critics at all. If they hate something, it's usually very good. They praise woke trash and usually hate what goes against or isn't that. Fuck 'em. I'll give this a watch.

Thats very disappointing to hear. I'm getting ready to go to the old man's and we are planning on sitting down and starting it.
 
Can't get past the 1st episode without snoozing. Pratt is not very good as a serious actor.

Gangs of London has way more better action with a decent plot to boot.
