I wasn't really happy with...

Androids having the ability to do Vulcan mind melds in episode 9. Give me a break...

I agree

I was mad way back when

When Spock and data met in TNG

YOU'RE FREAKING DATA DID THE NERVE PINCH

Watching DS9 ep "What you leave behind".

Cheesy, cheesy. The Dukat/Winn arc is just fucking awful, a garbage ending to the characters. Sisko too.

"But first, we need to release the Pah Wraiths from the Fire Caves."

Jesus, people coming out of the woodwork because I had a criticism of DS9. You ST fans are insane.

Anyways, DS9 is a great show with great characters, but they wasted everything in the final episodes, making Sisko and Dukat into demiGods, the scenery chewing was so bad it almost comes around to being intentionally funny.

It actually became an in-joke between my friend and me, if one of us begins a sentence with "but first--" and the other will interject "the Tranya" (old school) or "we must release the Pah Wraiths from the Fire Caves."

Data doing the nerve pinch on TNG was fine because unlike a mind meld it didn’t require any telepathic powers. The reason humans cannot do the nerve pinch (or at least they couldn’t until Michael Bernam on Discovery :rolleyes::rolleyes:) was because they’re not physically strong enough. That wouldn’t be a problem for Data who’s far stronger than a Vulcan.

I was called in as muscle by @Clippy we've been in the Deep Space Nine retarded fan club for a while now.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great fucking show.
I would say almost all the series limped to the finish line. But that's the way for the end of a run.

What was the worst final ep?

Turnabout Intruder, TOS?

All Good Things can't be considered for anything but best finale of any show ever

DS9 final ep I can't think of the name of?

Voyager ep I can't think of the name of but was terrible?

ENT ep I can't think of the name of, maybe Where No Man Has Gone Before?

Why did the New Starfleet make worker androids with enough intelligence to conceive of revolt?

Why not just simpler robots that wouldn't present an easy conflict because the writing is lazy?
They are simple robots. They were hacked by the Romulans. Bruce Maddox had figured out how to reproduce many aspects of the pasatronic brain, but could never figure out the human element, like Soong had done to create data. They were able to use Maddox basic Android, which they renamed syths.

8n the Picard book, many of the world's pissed about the Federation devoting all the resources to helping the Romulans, wanted those syths for themselves to do minal labor

So what's the con census on 'Picard?' I haven't been in here, or watched it.. I did see some of the first episode, with old Data in the dream. Knowing Brent Spiner, I'd kind of like to see him at a comic-con and ask him 300 questions about his cameo and ask him for lines from it, just to see his reaction.
