Television The Star Trek Thread V6.0

The only person being passive aggressive here is you, with this post.
Ironic.
The irony is well above your head. You keep crying about something like a petulant child. Don’t watch Picard or Discovery if you don’t like the shows. I hope to goodness that stay stuck in how the old days were great routine.

Okay Rickie.
So long. I don't waste time reading posts from assholes.

I'll admit that the episode 9 was the best one of the series

I'll be interested in seeing the conclusion but I still don't like this version of Star Trek
I actually thought it was the worst. But still solid. I admire you continuing to watch the show. I actually prefer it over Discovery, but I like both of them.

One thing I hated about Seven (other than the writers having 90%+ episodes being about her) was the ridiculous body hugging outfit and the fucking platforms she walked around on.

Once I noticed the shoes, it's hard not to see them. They're big and unwieldy and impractical.

At least in the new show she can relax a bit with normal-person clothes.
That was all Dick Berman from my understanding. She had a corset underneath the catsuit thing and it was very painful for her. The women in ST series' he was involved with hated him

Fuck you, Rick Berman, you ruined this too?
What is it with Ricks?

Oh God.....

Move along home was just on BBC America. I forgot how horrible that episode was.

That was actually the first episode of DS9 I ever saw back in the day when it aired live. I remember going into elementary school the next day and trying to copy them on the hopstoch pad. Sure glad that show improved.
I saw that one a couple weeks ago whilst rewatching DS9. It's by far the shittiest episode of the first three seasons (that I've seen upon rewatch), maybe the whole thing

It was ridiculous for ST and she was in pain dude, her being hot isn't that important. She had trouble moving and breathing. Grow up

It ranks among all series. I might place it in a top five worst eps ever.

Lol, it's not shaming her, it was cheap and unnecessary, not to mention apparently very painful for her. It didn't add anything to her character
I was put off by that obvious T & A hire, but she acted the hell out of the role.

Shame what they've done to her character.

lmao "Grow up?".

Sex sells retard, but it was her character development and portrayal that made her beloved in the end..

Who cares if she was uncomfortable either, it's part of the job. Some actors have to go through hours of uncomfortable makeup daily, or have to undergo strict dietary/exercise practices, go whine about that too moron.

She's hot as hell, but that suit and corset were ridiculous, especially for ST. Her character was great, from what I've seen of what she's become it's basically a different character in Picard. Wasn't it you who said she became Space Punisher? Lol, from what I've seen that looks accurate.

Fork in the brain

If you weren't so defensive you'd see the point

I might watch Orville during the lockdown.

Be safe, buddy!

Imagine being a Cardy or Ferengi, IIRC Shimerman talked about spending 4 hours of a shooting day in the makeup chair. Ryan had it a lot easier than the alien characters.

I loved what Orville was doing UNTIL that shitty Discovery episode.

I'd happily argue the pros and cons of her overt sexualily, but telling me to grow up because I personally enjoyed her appearance, and thought it was worth her struggle, is not a good start.
