THE REPORT, buttoned up (SCO Thread v. 33)

That's not what I'm suggesting. I have an example from my professional experience (CPA who worked in audit in past lives) which should clear up how I see it.

We gather evidence to support our opinion on the accuracy of a set of financial statements (that we're engaged to audit). For example we would obtain and read all material contracts (lending/debt agreements, contracts with vendors/customers, equity agreements, etc.). Now let's say I have one of my staff read the loan agreement and draft a summary of the main points and accounting/disclosure conclusions and I read the memo. If the audit partner asked me if I reviewed the loan agreement I would never say I did on the basis that I read my staff's memo! And if there was something vague or not consistent and my professional judgement made it clear it was really important to get it right I would sure as hell read the agreement myself and make sure I agree with my staff's conclusions.

Now I fully understand that this is an entirely different field with different practices and I'm open to being wrong (but I do see prosecutors arguing that Barr should have reviewed the evidence) but this is what I mean by review. I'm not asking Barr to recreate evidence or conduct second interviews but shouldn't he read the interviews and other documents to help him make a determination? I can't see how he can determine there was no obstruction by reading Mueller's report itself when Mueller couldn't come to that conclusion!!! That doesn't make sense.

Because Mueller’s report actually outlined the items that where considered for obstruction and collusion. All you’d have to do is review those items, which included the facts in support/contrast for them to make a decision. There’s no need to go rewatch the clip of trump saying, “hey Russia, if your listening” to make a determination about it.

Kamala Harris is what happens when you suck dick instead of working hard to get where you are.

For some reason i don't see him in a hearing anytime soon though.

Barr said publicly that he wouldn't object to Mueller testifying, and I expect that Mueller would want to show up and clear up any misunderstandings when he is called, especially with Barr calling his letter "snitty".

It all comes down to Mueller addressing Barr stating this though: “If [Mueller] had found enough evidence for an obstruction charge, I think he would state it,” which directly contradicts the rationale Mueller laid out in his report. Mueller indicated in a legal analysis of obstruction of justice that “fairness” dictated he not reach a formal judgment on whether the president obstructed justice — regardless of the evidence, and that “The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law,” Mueller’s team wrote.

C'mon, that's not the whole evidence and you know it.

Again, Mueller outlined the items for obstruction but couldn't come to a conclusion. How can Barr rely on those items and decide for himself without reviewing the evidence? It doesn't make sense to me. It would make sense if Barr said he review the interviews, transcripts, etc. and came to a different conclusion than Mueller.

He said it publicly but we know he wouldn't want Mueller behind the mic. He'll definitely be the least immature person to have a hearing in the last 2 years and it'd be the only one I'm actually interested in watching live.

She made Sessions "nervous" asking him basic questions and got Barr to give one of the most absurd Lionel Hutz lawyer answers since Slick Willy's "it depends on what you think the definition of is is".

Harris: "Has Trump or anyone at the WH suggested you open an investigation?"
Barr: "I am trying to grapple with the word suggest."

Because the items outlined the evidence in support/contrast for each of them. All you’d have to do is review those outlines and you’d have all they information you need. Unless you’re operating under the assumption that you’re investigator got something wrong or shouldn’t otherwise be taken at his word.

She asks vague and misleading questions on purpose for idiots who support people like her and AOC to imagine that she is somehow stumping people.

Barr rolled right over her. She looked as stupid as Booker questioning that judge on the personal lives of her clerks she doesn't have.

I hope you are wrong about Barr reneging on his promise, but yeah, he is such a scurvy shyster bastard, you never know.

There's evidence to support my claim. Willie has openly talked about.

It's nothing about vague nonsense when it comes to self-serving Graham.

Mueller has only confirmed beyond any reasonable doubt that it was about political theater beneficial to Democrats. That's it. Nothing Barr said was inaccurate, that's clear based on what Mueller has admitted. But obviously he's not happy with his ass lickers being made to look foolish.

Mueller is a disgrace.

Okay, you obviously struggle with words too.<mma4>

I will note that going forward and talk to you in a way that you can grasp.

Yeah, I don't think you read word 1 of the report, or your mind makes it's own redactions in real time.

I picture that dude sitting at a computer in a public library somewhere hiding his Schlitz Tall Boy from the librarian and making the junior high school girls feel really uncomfortable.
