Movies THE MATRIX: RESURRECTIONS (New Trailer)

I wouldn't mind it... but I'd rather take it from where the series left off & move forward.

For one... Neo isn't dead imo. The oracle said she expected we'd see him again. & also, during the scene where Agent Smith explodez & it goes to where we all think Neo is dead... the machine face speaks to him & sayz "It is done." Why would the machine speak to someone who is dead?

It just had him hooked up & so it would know Neo'z vitalz... & as a machine it would know the futility of talking to a dead person & not bother.

All that said...

The un-answered question az to why Neo waz able to control the squidz while "supposedly" out of the matrix suggests that Zion waz just a side program... & no one actually escaped the pod city.

it openz up yet a deeper level of control. Like how interesting iz it that they went through all that thinking they were free & yet the whole time they were still prisonerz of the system. That works hand in hand as a parallel to society as well. Like someone unhappy in a dead end job thinks they're free... but in reality, they're still plugged into the system of control similar to someone in actual prizon.

Yes, they have "more" control over their life... but if they're unhappily just going through the motionz... they're basically still in the prison. They're forced to do thingz they don't want to do. They are imprisoned when they think they are free... just as Morphius, Neo, & crew all think they are out of the Matrix... but they are actually still laying in their podz.

So I think that showing that deeper level of control in the continuation of the movie really emphasizez the main symbolic theme that this movie waz all about to begin with. In the 1st Matrix, we find out we are all just prisoners. So if they go this route with the continuation... we would find out that even those who thought they escaped were only in a more elaborate prison... takes that original lesson to the HNL imo.

Or how about if the original trilogy is a simulation that Morphius & company put on potential prospects to prepare them for a real escape... & in doing so, they can give them all this power & see if they abuse it. Those who abuse the power are not disconnected.

So like Morphius hacks into the Machine'z Matrix program & runs this simulation of the entire Trilogy... & then after they pass that test... then they are actually pulled from the pod city into the real world. Haha.... that would be cool. In this scenario, everyone who iz in the "real world" got to be "the one" az their trial.

Anywayz... it's fun to speculate about... but remember... Neo should not of been able to control those squidz while out of the matrix. That's real. We need answerz!

I'm a little surprised there hasn't already been more stories. Not just films either. Fan fics, etc.

Nowhere near the level of STAR WARS. Not sure why.

Could be OK....
That's about my feeling on it. We got the broad strokes of Morpheus at one point being thought to be The One but that story wasn't told. It would take some skill to make it engaging with a foregone conclusion though.

Best to just do something original with new characters in the Matrix universe, IMO. Morpheus et. al could cameo I guess...

Those Zs took a lot of trust away from otherwize interesting arguments.
Then I am grateful my theories do not require you to believe them :p

The info standz on it's own bro. Consider it & decide for yourself whether or not you feel it to be true. My writing style haz nothing to do with the soundness of the information that I presented.

Thanx for reading it. :D

The English language haz it wrong. Listen to the word "Spellz"....

It clearly endz with a "Z" sound. Try sounding it out with an "S" sound... it doezn’t sound right.

I'm tired of the Bull sh*t & I'm not taking it any more & someone has to make a stand!

Webster haz you all fooled!

I'm not interested in this because the Wachowski's aren't writing their characters back-story... even the new Star Wars stuff isnt really grabbing me because its not even George Lucas's story anymore... might as well write a Pulp Fiction prequel too or Breakfast Club 2. Add a Nine Inch Nails soundtrack full of new songs written by Skrillex... I'm ranting here but these stories not written by the original writers is kinda bullshit when you think about it and its no different if some studio making "New Beatles songs" using hired writers and musicians to make Beatles sounding music and releasing a new album as the actual Beatles with the remaining living Beatles nowhere to be found.... I hope to hear the Wachowski's don't approve of this even though they'll probably get paid for doing nothing.

lol pretty much. This is great news. I always enjoyed the animatrix thing they did. Had this drug dealer who was obsessed with it. Not even joking for like 2 months while I was buying weed and getting high with this guy he had this playing nonstop on his TV I couldn't believe it.
There is something about certain anime that makes it very easy to watch over and over again.

A prequel about a young Morpheus

Way better than a reboot. I'll watch.

For a long time I've wanted to see another story in the Matrix universe (I love Animatrix), because the mythology is vast and fascinating. New story, new characters, and Gareth Evans (The Raid duology) directing = color me intrigued!

If anything could use a R-rated live action adaptation, it's the rise of the machines story from Animatrix.

Make Morpheus the lead somehow. would watch.

I was randomly thinking if there was news for a sequel for this - apparently there is.

Oh and I always thought Speed Racer was cringe based on the trailers but apparently some of ya like it. I'll have to give it a shot.
