Ol' Fetus Franklin could just change it anyway lol

Did he just give a pregnant woman a glass of whiskey?

LoL, it was a simpler time
Had to watch twice, but he was making himself a whiskey & when she complained about the baby kicking, he set teh bottle down & poured her something out of a pitcher. They definitely insinuated it though.

Finally got around to watching this - I fly for work a lot and so on my latest flight there werent many new movies I hadnt seen or that interested me

Watching this it was as poor as I expected. Its easily the worst of the hollywood efforts to do F4. As pieces of entertainment the previous 2 versions, the one with Chris Evans as Johnny Storm and the one with Miles whatever as Mr Fantastic were more entertaining movies. I'm not saying they wetre great. Just better and more entertaining than this.

The casting is generally poor compared to those other movies for the family of 4. The only exception being Vanessa Kirby who seems quite good as Sue Storm. The previous 2 editions cast were more charismatic.

The opening scenes are dull, the movie doesnt grab you from the off like a superhero blockbuster should. And it stays boring for a good 40 minutes to be honest.

On the same flight I subsequently watched Honey Dont and that movie did a far better job of engaging me and drawing me in with its opening scene. It was much more entertaining.

This is just a dull, mediocre movie that I was looking forward to it ending from about 14 mins in. Not dissimilar to Superman and Thunderbolts this year in that respect. Tbis is perhaps the worst of the 3.

Really didn't like it, it was slow paced and the villains posed almost no threat due to plot armor. it was directed very sloppy as well with nothing special going for it.

5/10.

Well that's definitely a take.

And watching Honey Don't on a plane is brave, or stupid depending on who is around you.

Finally watched it.

Pascal as Reed Richards was not great casting. Reed Richards only being able to stretch a little was also lame.

Lackluster film in general. Galactus was much less formidable than he should have been. They didn’t really set him up as a villain that anyone has to worry about from here on out.

Pascal is a good actor and I really enjoy him in a lot of things, not so much in this and that’s do to how he was written.
Overall the movie was watchable and Julia garner was better than I expected. Unfortunately it’s another major villain wasted, just exiled to the far corners of the universe so I’m sure he will be back.
