At some point people will realize Elon is not a serious person. He’s doing this for his own self amusement. This is after all, the guy who impulsively overpaid for Twitter. This is not a serious person. It’s also painfully obvious he doesn’t understand American civics (neither does your average voter for that matter). Elon is not used to being a supporting cast member. Some of us who have money in the stock market saw the market tank the day the first bill did not pass. The people who own the government made sure it passed the second time. The rest is theater . I do like that Musk made sure the debt ceiling was raised. Nothing says Conservative values like wanting to spend more money. Now Musks party is trying to ostracize Chip Roy for pointing out wanting to raise the debt ceiling is utter bullshit.
