I think Ben Shapiro said it best that it's not that most on the right "hate" AOC is just how much she gets protected by the mainstream media for saying outlandish things. Trump gets lambasted on the regular for some of his dumb ass comments (which he should) but mostly because he isn't well liked by most media outlets. While AOC is young, pretty, and comes across as very relatable to her audience.

This doesn't mean everything Cortez says is dumb and I may agree with her on some issues but it's pretty obvious the media treats her with kid gloves.

You didn't read the post I explained about carbon burning the atmosphere today is from decades ago. That's true that ain't the point. It wouldn't change anything tangible in 12 years it would change whether the planet has a shot at surviving long term though.

I do consider myself a nationalist but even if climate change didn't exist I'd want to get rid of fossil fuels. Climate change is just the worst adverse effect of fossil fuels, contaminating water, air(and you know people's lungs) wouldn't be okay regardless. But those issues(well maybe water contamination does) don't have a timer attached to them. This issue you agreeing isn't enough you have to agree right now or we're fucked so naturally the intensity is going to be as warranted by the emergency.

Trump has the same policies concerning familes and the kids are in cages because of the 9th circuit court rulling they have to stay with their parents. I never seen people run into concentration camps lol .... and it's funny this language was never used for the border till this year...hmmm

They can go home, or wherever, from the border detainment facilities, they just can't enter the US illegally. They choose to stay and await their hearings to enter legally.

A lot of people I know who are likely to be in that position in the future love AOC... Personally I have pretty mixed feelings on her and wish she showed up again after ten years of studious, low profile work getting a feel for politics and better determining what's realistic, but a lot of educated people with platforms look at her as pretty important.

Temps have been around 4 to 5 degrees higher on average in the last decade at this point in time then any in history. If you also note the odd weather we been having with considerable amounts of rain and rapid weather shift again caused by a changing atmosphere.
