This is my issue too and the reason I moved away from the Democratic Party. They've just become more and more obsessed with identity politics and victimology that even Joe Biden, a guy most of them praised for years under Obama, is now the enemy. Even though they knew most of these things about him for years and said nothing.

The victimization and irreverence of time is what kills me. They are judging absolutely everything within hindsight, retrospectively damning everyone and every word that isn't comfortable with 2019's linguistics.

But, it's political season and they know Joe is the front runner, so they must attack. I just wish it wasn't over petty shit like this. They are framing him as racist, or okay with racism.

I actually think she is looked at as a template for the future of politics by a lot more people than Sarah Palin. A lot of righties liked Palin quite a bit, but I didn't see an acceptance of her as the next big thing in the same way. A lot of young people around my campus are treating her like the future of politics, and they're future educators and the intellectual elite.
