Don't you have threads to censor and delete? I mean, only the threads that threaten your "principles," of course.
Right, why acknowldge a point by point breakdown of your mistakes...

Is this like the blanket statement thing where you ignore the written word so you can play Sherdog pretend? I have a secret for you...anyone following this can still read what I wrote. "blah blah blah" doesn't change my post, lol.

And, no, I don't have any other threads to monitor right now. I do have one report that you filed on another poster but that shouldn't take too much time.
<DCWhoa>

EDIT: See no time at all. Lot of pot calling the kettle black out there, lol. Ah the hypocrisy never ceases to amuse me.

Oh my bad...you were in the middle of insulting me. Please go on...

Interesting how you only partially responded to my post hiding behind wordplay and semantics. Yet you claim that I'm the only one that's not acknowledging your posts. Interesting double standards you got there.

I responded to your entire post, point by point with citations from my own. Like I said, it's easy enough to read. Or did you skim that one too?

So the only examples of this degree of "sneering undertones" in criticizing a politician is with AOC. No such "sneering undertones" in criticisms of Clinton, Biden, etc. Gotcha. Glad you claim to have responded to my "entire post, point by point" when you clearly did not.

And we all know that language goes beyond the written word. There is context and subtext in everything stated. But of course, you deny such insinuations and connotations because you did not explicitly write them all out. Even though all of your leftist followers understand exactly what you mean and applaud you for it.

And yeah, great job being an impartial moderator by censoring threads and posts that go against your beliefs but allowing other posters to outright call me names without adding anything of substance to the discussion.

Edit: Oh wait. Did you not read my post? Did you just skim it? Was it too complex for you?

When you went back and re-read what I typed, you realized you were wrong and then called me a troll to hide your errors.

You're gonna still sit there and claim not to be a troll like all of your leftist followers and "yes" men in this thread?

I agree with this.

I think that something about her being vocal and attractive makes some people immediately respond negatively to her. If she looked like road pizza but held the same positions, people would still disagree with her but it wouldn't have the same sneering undertones.

I always harken back to something I heard a random female politician in South America say. She was comparing her political life to that of women in the U.S. Her opinion (her opinion) was that Americans can't handle attractive, smart, and ambitious women. They want them ugly and ambitious or pretty and dumb. And that whenever they're presented with an attractive woman who is ambitious, they work hard to paint her as stupid.

Now, that's just one non-American politician's opinion but I always thought it had a ring of truth to it. It also dovetails with general research showing that being too attractive works against women in the workplace. It engenders resentment.

The attention to AOC just baffles me. She's a politician doing what every politician does. We elect dozens of them every 2 years. They all hold some non-traditional positions, especially the ones either in CA, NY or the flyover states. Yet she's become this lightening storm of public discourse. I don't get it.

I think she ticks the boxes that trigger almost everyone on the right.

She calls herself a democratic socialist and since the oligarchs in Murka have been spreading the Boogeyman propaganda since the 60s, ofc she is a manifestation of that propaganda so she gets targeted.

Shes also brown so that triggers all the racists.

Shes Latina so Im sure a lot of right-wing Latinos similar to Rubio get triggered.

Shes also, as you said, attractive, so that dispels the myth of all left-wing women being blue-haired lesbians and that probably triggers a lot of right-wingers too. A lot of right-wing dudes are pissed because their gfs are Boise dimes and wouldnt compare to her.

Here's an example of the context and subtext that underlies pan's posts. But no! Not according to pan!

I don't disagree with the parts I edited but I think its sort of wrong to lump everyone in with ideas like this. Its 2019. Its not some rare, weird thing for a minority to hold public office. Its a minority of people that care what color she is.

Back to our regularly scheduled program after a mod's attempted derailing...since I know pan loves AOC's twitter posts so much.

Yeah but there are still racists in 2019. Its not like racism has just disappeared like some people try to argue and racism, like any other type of bigotry will make people not like her.

There were people who didnt like Obama as President simply because he was brown. They are not gonna suddenly have progressive views 3 yrs later.

I must be on a forum full of bots.

In before I get accused of being a bot.

Edit: seems like she deleted her tweet about social media sites being overrun by conservative bots.

She wants to be absolutely sure about the "details!" LOL.

And, once again, she's not wrong.

Because while Americans have $1.5T in tuition debt, the Chinese alone have bought $2T in American residential real estate.

That's a lot of Chinese landlords with American tenants.

So what's your solution? Take all the American residential real estate that the Chinese own and sell it and pay off the current tuition debt? Does that sound legal to you? Something, something Constitutional takings or something? Ring any bells? No?

And let's suppose that you do use that money to pay off the current $1.5T tuition debt. Ok. What about future tuition? You're just gonna find more foreign money to keep paying for future educational debts?

???

I can see why AOC is so appealing to certain people.

Do you think all constitutional protections extend to foreigners?

I think AOC's point is that our priorities are fucked to protect real estate speculation that drives up the cost of living but also ignore millions of students who come out of college with a mortgage payment and no house.

Are we being forced to pay for college now for urban Morons that can’t read past a 7th grade level, can’t use paragraphs, can’t spell, can’t write, have the vocabulary of a child, are not capable of writing a high school paper, are not capable of any mathematics above simple multiplication and somehow get straight A’s all their life?

Yeah, great investment AOC.

Hardcore racists can be found in the mainstream left.

Really? That's the stance you want to take? OK.

1. Do all constitutional protections extend to foreigners?
I don't know. Who should decided which constitutional protections should extend to foreigners and which should not? Should AOC and her crew decide? Should the Supreme Court decide? Should the President of the US decide? Are you sure you want to go down this rabbit hole? Because my guess is that ultimately, it's going to be the Supreme Court that decides. And do you think the current make up of the SC will look favorably at taking foreigner's properties?

2. Aside from the legal constitutional viewpoint, do you think it is moral to take foreigners' properties?
Do you want to live in a country where foreigners are discouraged from investing any money because all of their US properties can be taken away at any point on the whim of the US government? Do you think it is right to say, "Hey, since you're Chinese, all of your houses in America are now the property of the US government?" Any money they have in American banks, all US govermnent's. What about European investors? What about African investors? You don't think there's anything wrong with that?

3. Who has been raising the cost of colleges?
Has the US government been raising college tuition? Last I checked, it was the colleges themselves (both private and public) that have been raising their costs. They claim it's for research and whatnot. But we all know the truth. It's to pay professors and administrators. My own college professors had salaries in the quarter to half million dollar range. Are you complaining about that?

4. Cost of living increases driven by foreigners?
Despite foreign real estate speculation, do you really think that foreigners are the main reason cost of living and housing has been going up? What percentage of US residential properties are owned by foreigners? What about US citizens who own homes? Should they be looked down on because they saved up to buy a home but now their home is worth more?

5. Who is forcing students to go to college when there are "no jobs" available for them?
First off, it seems that reports indicate that unemployment is at an all time low. Secondly, who is forcing these people to go to college and earn degrees that do not translate into career opportunities upon graduation? Did people force these students to get a bachelors in gender studies? Or was it their choice? And shouldn't people have the freedom to choose? Instead of majoring in fields where salaries and job opportunities are low, did they work to get degrees in STEM fields? Or if they don't want to, they can go to trade colleges. Who is forcing these people to go to college?

6. AOC's point that we are protecting real estate speculation over people is a false dichotomy.
She wants you to believe that there is an imaginary corporate elite group trying to keep people down while they only enrich themselves. Look at Amazon as an example. AOC lambasted Amazon and demanded that they renegotiate an agreement that the company, city, state, and local citizens all agreed on. She ignores or denies the fact that Amazon was going to bring in about 25,000 jobs (mostly high paying high tech jobs) and only focuses on some imaginary $3B that Amazon was supposedly getting from NY. What about the jobs that graduating college students could have used? I'm sure many graduating students from NYU, Columbia, and local colleges would have loved to get a six figure salary there to help pay for their educational debts.

But yeah, keep dreaming that AOC is for the little people.

Edit: And since AOC is suddenly so concerned about "details," I would love to hear how she plans on funding free college for all. If she explains the details in a feasible fashion without taking away any of our liberties, I would gladly consider her proposal. Heck, I don't want my kids to have to pay for something if they don't have to.

Ah the hypocrisy never ceases to amuse me.
I see you must spend a lot of time amusing yourself then.

And since you seem to think that calling someone a "little bitch" is the same as me calling you a troll...

Here’s an ad hominem for you:

You’re a little bitch

Are you feeling threatened? You need a little safe space?

Then shut the fuck up until you're mature enough to ween yourself off of your mom's saggy tits and learn to contribute something of substance rather than throw in stupid insults because you're worthless and a waste of space taking up valuable oxygen that could have been better used by a vaulable member of society. Why don't you go protest why your mom did not abort you after seeing how much of a retard you are? Little bitch.
