I'm expecting this to get real interesting tomorrow when the embargo lifts. Sounds like it's going to be polarizing, but it's gonna be great for water cooler discussion.

I'm sooooo fucking ready for this film, man!

I think it's going to suck.
I thought so, too, and when Batman showed up in the trailer all ratty looking - I started to laugh. But the acting in these clips has been pretty good and I liked car chase clip.

Frankly, I can find something to enjoy in every Batman movie (haven't seen the Justice League, though, either version). I'm sure this will have good 10 minutes of fun, at least.

I'm hoping it's good.

"While retaining requisite elements of blockbuster action cinema...decidedly shifts the focus to pulp fiction...The Batman feels more like a Batman story than a Batman movie, and that's an achievement in itself." 4/4

- Peter Canavese, Groucho Reviews

"While it may go on a bit too long, it provides a gripping detective story and fleshed out Gotham which compliments the other great Batman films nicely." A-

- Sean Chandler, Sean Chandler Talks About

"The Batman is bold, brutal and oozes in gothic aesthetic. In a superhero movie climate where cameos and CGI-heavy sequences are commonplace, Matt Reeves answers back with cinema. Simply one of the best DC films of all time." 5/5

- Sheraz Farooqi, CinemaDebate

"The Batman brings the Caped Crusader back to Earth for a coming-of-age procedural delivering real thrills, a terrifically creepy villain, and a fresh start for a classic hero."

- Rob Hunter, Film School Rejects

"The film stands apart for thoughtfully suggesting that Batman might actually one day make Gotham a better place, and not merely a safer one." 3.5/4

- Jake Cole, Slant Magazine

Now I can see them, but only 50. Not more than 70 as I'd read there were.

Sucks movie isnt in 3d for those with perfect vision. Smh!

Apparently this really is going to be a noir detective story that's extremely personal. I was worried it would be too action oriented. My goodness, we are in a for a treat, y'all.

I read one review that sounded like it could suffer from the same problems TDKR did, like trying to cram too many plots into one movie. I hope not.

Chris Stuckmann said he loved it and I trust his reviews. I think it's gonna be good
