Fair enough, there isn't a brandishing law in Texas. Does that change the fact they refused to leave a situation they felt was a danger to their lives? They were out there to confront him about the mattress, not like the guy cornered them while they were minding their own business.

The fuck? I'm pro gun rights. I've said that multiple times in this thread. I think in my first post even. You've acknowledged me saying that. Saying these guys were irresponsible and are guilty of killing a man illegally is not saying guns should be taken away. You've already been embarrassed in this thread for calling people gun grabbers for no reason, learn your lesson.

The castle law in Texas has been expanded to public areas.

They literally had no legal responsibility to retreat, and holding that gun is legal in Texas.

I bet in 49 states in this country, those two guys could be got on some kind of wrongful death, or in gun grabber states, murder, and perhaps war crimes. But in the state of Texas, the people voted, and they voted for drive through gun stores, to go with their drive through liquor stores, and bring your own beer strip clubs.

Sec. 42.01. DISORDERLY CONDUCT. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly:

(8) displays a firearm or other deadly weapon in a public place in a manner calculated to alarm;

And I keep see you mentioning something about 'what was the old man supposed to do with a raging lunatic coming at him with a bat' - the deceased was ranting and raving precisely because the guys showed up with firearms - so it's a bit of a dog chasing it's tail. Maybe the guy in the orange shirt was an idiot, but doesn't he have the right to pick up a weapon if two dudes approach him and his family brandishing weapons?

If I understand the situation correctly, it would be like you cutting me off in traffic with your wife and kids in the car, and then me and my brother following you to a parking lot and approaching you with a shotgun and a pistol both drawn. I'm guessing you would probably be a bit upset. Probably not as stupid as the guy in the orange to charge us with a tire iron, but there is no question as to who the actual douchebags are here.

So if I approached you over a traffic violation, with your wife and kids in the car, with a gun drawn, you wouldn't find that "alarming"?

This is what makes this stupid. I get it. The psycho chick that egged her fiance into getting killed, says they were angels, and didn't do anything before the gun was pulled.

What the old man and the kid are going to say, it that the psycho guy, was threatening to kill them, and making aggressive movements.

It is he said, she said.

What the video shows, leads me to believe the old man and the kid. The psycho probably threatened to kill him, and moved towards him. That is why he pulled the gun.
