Crime Texas: Two fat hillbillies kill a Father over garbage

Sorry but.....You're insane. <puh-lease75>

But whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I'm just telling you what the law actually says. Allot of things that you think are Illegal, are only illegal for people who can't afford good lawyers.

Right, but I mean this in general society too. Me and my friends used to like to run around acting a fool. I remember a time where we were fucking around camping. We got into it with some locals. We were were used to just punking people out. These backwoods good old boys went and got about 20 of their friends, after they surrounded us with guns, they threw Molotov cocktails on our campsite, and ran us off with a few shots in our general direction.

That was a good lesson for me. One taught by some John Wayne's vigilantes.
That sounds ridiculous. I don't want to live in a society of assholes, nor a society where that kind of violence is how problems are solved. You all should have been raised better.

I really hate the Urban Dictionary.

All these confounded new slang terms.

Whatever happened to "That was a mistake" or "That was a crime" or "That changes everything"?

When I hear "That's a paddlin", I picture a dog swimming.

Bruh, it was a decade and a half old Simpson's reference.

You can't go blaming everything on these changing times. If you didn't get it, you didn't get it; has nothing to do with a shift in vernacular. People have, will, and for the foreseeable future, will continue referencing the Simpsons.

Pulling a gun out over a mattress is threatening behavior.

Pulling a gun out could be seen as threatening . . . sure. I'd go further and say it wouldn't necessarily actually be threatening until pointed at the person.

There's a difference between having a gun for protection and pulling it out when it's not necessary.

Maybe the historical interactions of these guys made the old dude feel like it was necessary.

And I'm not saying it's smart to argue and threaten someone who has a gun, I'm saying we shouldn't be giving power to anyone just because they have a gun.

Hey . . . you do you . . . surviving to live another day instead of getting shot over something stupid is smarter than standing up to someone to show them who's boss rather than let them feel like they have power.

Which also reminds me why I hate Lawyers. <13>

The victim was the first person to show disrespect, here (both for his neighbors and for the city ordinance laws).
You really think pulling a gun on the guy was a better response than calling the police? City ordinance laws should be punishable by death?

I don't care if it was invented by fucking Jesus!!

It's a dumb slang term that makes ZERO SENSE.

The FACT that it was the SIMPSONS (a fucking cartoon catering to the lowest common denominator) proves my point.

What part of "a bunch of pussies" do you have issues comprehending?

My post is about an over reliance on firearms over knocking a mother fucker out.

Fuck all that gun talk.

Never seen someone so eager to shoot someone over nothing. Then again, I never seen someone so eager to get shot over nothing. The perfect hillbilly storm.

When a man who You are screaming at and he is acting calm and saying if you come within three feet of him and he will kill you your best course of action is to back the fuck away. He was the aggressor through the whole video and that old guy will not spend anytime in jail whatsoever.

Slang =/= Reference

It might be a colloquialism though because the Simpsons immense popularity has seeded the show's references into the American dialect.

IN THE FUCKING LEG, THIGH, or whatever!

Not a fucking KILL-SHOT to the HEAD!!

Really?

If I'm threatened and armed . . . I'm shooting to end the threat. Whoever is threatening me or my family gets shot wherever they get shot.

The only reason I didn't end up dead or in jail, is because my step dad finally came into the picture. Mom's worked too much, and couldn't handle a hyper agressive male. Did fine with my sisters.

The damage was already done by the time step dad showed up. The best he could do was give me enough boundaries that hopefully one day I would wise up, which after one too many near death experiences, and multiple people saying they thought I would die soon, finally happened at 18.

It sounds more like that you can't figure out the sense in it, rather than it actually not making any. I got it without being a native speaker.

I didn't watch the video. Not a fan of watching real death. From what I gather, the guy was ranting like crazy and came at them with a bat? I don't know if I'd shoot to kill, but if I had a gun in that scenario, it'd probably be getting drawn. Depending on how the guy acted after that, he might get a bullet.

The tricky part there is that the guy was ranting like crazy BECAUSE of the gun. What really set him off (it seems) is these guys threatening him with a gun in front of children. We don't know what was done or said before the guns came out.

People who view these guys as brave heroes simply assume the dead guy threatened them and caused them to spring into responsible, normal citizenry and execute their neighbor over a dumpster. People who view these guys as inbred hicks with a vigilante fetish assume they charged out of their trailer waving their guns around after watching 10 steven segal movies ready to kill.

The truth is we don't know, and assuming is stupid. Every single person in his video is trash IMO. But they way I see it to justify whipping a pistol out of his basketball shorts to begin with, he better have had a very good reason to think he needed to protect himself. Because someone putting a mattress in a dumpster where you don't want them to put it is not a good reason, nor is a verbal disagreement. Once the guns are out and the guy threatens them and goes after them with a bat is a different discussion. But how things got to that point in the first place is important to me.

What happened to needing guns to defend our homes and family? Now that applies to controlling the contents back alley dumpsters? Why bring a fucking gun? Especially whopper jr back there with the shotgun slung over his shoulder. Pretty funny to see this so vehemently defended when that guy is basically a caricature of a gun nut who thinks he's badass for owning a gun and just wants a reason to kill someone. These people make us all look bad, and this type of shit is a great argument for gun control. And that's coming from someone who doesn't want a gun ban or anything, it's just fucking bizarre to me for people to twist THIS bullshit into a "justified shoot"

Yeah, fuck all these people. The guy with the pistol was nice and calm and all.... but also, you know... holding a gun and starting to bring it up over and over.

But in any case, I'm sure this was worth it for all parties involved.

What an embarrassing video and embarrassing individuals, both the ranting lunatic and the shirtless pear-shaped gunslingers.

I don’t know what happened before the video started, or the history (I would assume that they have had run-ins before.) So I’m not going to judge on this one. If they’ve had violent encounters before, I understand bringing a gun.

Complete retards all around. Both parties could’ve walked away at any time.
