Texas Heat

Parts of NE AZ are beautiful. We lived on the Navajo. It has some of the best landscapes surrounded by some of the worst.

I'm not saying I'd be out enjoying work or even doing much work in 115 degree weather . . . that's crazy.

Living in Oklahoma isn't as bad as folks think. It just gets a bad wrap. Parts of NM are fine, but some is just one big brown wasteland.

I'm scared of Tornadoes, that my problem with OKC..;)

Texas Heat sounds like it would be the name of a gay biker bar in Texas

Texas heat isn't bad. It's dry heat. Florida and Thailand heat is evil. Swampass isn't a good life.

It definitely takes some getting used to. I was born and raised here and never gave it much thought until I lived outside state for almost 10 years and then moved back.

Just got my energy bill for this month, increased significantly. Also another Ercot warning today about rolling blackouts and energy conservation. I already leave my thermostat at 78 until the sun goes down, not much more I can do there. My balls is hot ffs.

I leave ours at 77. Once had the AC guy come out and he was shocked that I leave it at 77 during the day. Had to tell him if it wasn't for my wife it would be 78/79.

I have East facing windows so it's not too bad, still though my balls is hot.

I don't get hot at that temp. I do walk around in basketball shorts and shirtless. When my wife has it at 77 I might throw a blanket on if I'm sitting under the event which is like almost every sitting spot in our living room.

Kind of like people like me that grew up in Cali, being used to earthquakes. They don't scare me at all, but when I moved to the Carolinas for a few years, people there were deathly afraid of earthquakes, and would ask how come I wasn't. lol

The UK goes mental over anything past 25c.

With that said, it batters me. My tiny flat has no air con and the sun blasts rays against my front window from 13:00 onwards, turning my flat into something of a furnace.

Well your basically full of shit and probably boring yourself. Central Texas is basically Gucci

lol@ houston
Moved to Dallas for few weeks , said fuck this place and moved to nice ass Florida.

An no I dont wanna fuck you brah sorry. Florida should be good for you, ya can check out men on the beach. A good reason why Florida is a meme

We've been having earthquakes here over the last 4-5 years too. Our first one over 4.3 or so freaked a BUNCH of us out.

Dropped to 96 for a quick thunderstorm... Be 95 with 100 humidity and mosquitoes in 30 minutes. ;)

They need to try stitching together a giant umbrella and see if it cools things.

Lmao @ living in that kind of heat. Glad I’m not poor and live in GoatCal
