Lows in the 50s, highs in the 70s. Just the way I like it.
Where at?

About 2 hours northeast of Quebec City.Where at?
Lmao @ living in that kind of heat. Glad I’m not poor and live in GoatCal
Don’t have to deal with mudslides or brushfires where I’m at. Yes I do remember northridge and earthquakes aren’t all that bad. I’ll deal with one like that every 30 years over constant extreme heat any day.Have you experienced the mudslides, brushfires or an earthquake? Do you remember Northridge ... did it reach where you are?
uh yes. swamp ass is not life....uh no.
No even by Texas standards it's been badIt's texas it gets hot these things happen
it's not a dry heat though....at least not here in east texasuh yes. swamp ass is not life....
I'm in North Texas (which is slightly better temps then Houston) and the pools are basically worthless right now after 12pm. When it's this hot and this consistent the water is warm and it doesn't feel good.I was just telling my wife that it’s been pretty good this summer. Im in the Houston area. Will be hitting up a pool Tuesday afternoon. Been thinking it’s time I just get a pool built at home. Normally we pay to go somewhere or just go to the beach.
Texas is actually one of the best states for year-round golf, it's the main reason why the country club scene is so crazy.Heard yesterday that some family friends are moving to Austin TX. They are moving from Florida to TX so the higher heat shouldn't shock the system. He loves his golf so imagine he'll have to figure out early tee off times. She loves to work so don't imagine much will change for her.
Yeah the bang for your buck really has taken a hit. In my area DFW the peak was probably 2014 to 2017 eraI can't take this shit anymore. I'm going to start taking mini trips to a few places I'm thinking of relocating to. Cost of living isn't even that great here anymore to keep putting up with living in a damn swamp. Seriously fuck this.
I was in Northridge for the earthquake when I was a kid living at my moms house in the valley. My elementary schools main building crumbled. Shit was wild. Although like @Revolver said an earthquake every handful of decades isn’t that serious to me given the upside. Also I live in the city and haven't ever had to deal with mudslides or brushfires (although one in Bel-Air a couple years ago got relatively close to my business) but that’s the price we pay. We have gorgeous weather, beautiful women everywhere, and more opportunities for wealth than almost anywhere I’ve found in the world.Have you experienced the mudslides, brushfires or an earthquake? Do you remember Northridge ... did it reach where you are?
Hi.You’ve almost achieved the impossible task of more likes than posts.
The courses are PACKED. I can’t golf in this weather. There is a huge Japanese population in the area and they would golf 24/7 if they could. We need at least 4 more courses in north Austin ASAPI'm in North Texas (which is slightly better temps then Houston) and the pools are basically worthless right now after 12pm. It's a double-edged sword because yeah the pool feels good in May and September but at that point you'd rather be outside because the weather is actually manageable (walks, running, bike ride, golf/tennis ...ect).

If you do morning tea times from May to October and then afternoon tee times from October to May you'll be playing in 60 to 82° weather for 90% of the year

Salaries during that time were about 85% of what they were now but the cost of living was almost half. Pretty much all the suburbs had high schools that were top 5% in the nation and you only had to pay $200 to 350K to get into it. There was also a lot less out of staters flooding in which change the entire socio-demographic of the area
That's the fucked up part, I love summer and love being outside but the oppressive heats takes that away from you. I still power through my walks and such, but man I miss San Diego and Colorado summersPeople talk about seasonal depression during winter but it hits me this time of year. Wanting to get out and do shit but it being too hot to enjoy is the worst.

I played in the woodlands yesterday, the storm just skirted the area as I arrived so even though there was wind, thr temp dropped by about 12-13 degrees and was overcast. it drizzled a bit here and there but by the 11th hole, the clouds disappeared and it was back to 100 degrees and then some mega humidity. I drank gallons of water and still walked off the 18th completely drenched. The courses are PACKED. I can’t golf in this weather. Texas has a huge country club culture due to the wealth and status of being a member at these elite clubs. The country club I work part time at for example is one of 3 Dallas clubs that has a waitlist of over 10 years to joinThe courses are PACKED. I can’t golf in this weather. Even worse here in Houston since it's even more humid.
And Arizona Cardinal JJ Watt shut all that Arizona is hotter mess down:
The Twitter conversation pivoted to the Bayou City's balmy weather when a fan asked Watt what if thought Arizona heat is worse than Houston's. Watt responded: "Houston by a mile. That humidity is no joke."
