I live in far west Texas, the desert, and while we are constantly the hottest part of the state, I find the 0% humidity good for the 9 month summers.
Its really not uncommon to be above 100 degrees for weeks of a time, but weirdly the minute the sun goes down the air cools and makes the evenings comfortable. It’s so dry that we hardly have insects and no mosquitoes at all. Nights in the desert are actually pretty pleasant.
As far as the daytime goes, you better seek shelter. The unadulterated scorching sunlight will kill your ass before you know it. Literally, half a day without water or shelter, and you die.
