Absolutely hilarious. I dare say they probably wrote this clip intentionally into the movie just for the promo.

Unless the actor playing the villain has some serious acting chops, and will have the time to show them off, he's gotta be about the least intimidating villain I've ever seen. He looks like an extra. No screen presence whatsoever.

This is my main complaint about this movie
it doesn't look too bad but the villain is

And I say that as (seemingly) a minority that actually liked T3 and Salvation. Geneysis was a complete train wreck, and I have never watched it since being suckered into seeing it in theater.

Lol incels how? the franchise started with a female protagonist FFS. I don't have anything against women, but they don't have to shoehorn this "women can be tough too!" message into everything. Especially freaking sci-fi, a genre that has had strong female characters decades before it was popular.

Looks like some dude you'd see at the grocery store or the mall. Absolutely no presence or feeling of menace. That took me out of the trailer right awy. Like you said it's as if they grabbed a random extra

Props for developing a new type of terminator though. A liquid endo with a robotic exo is pretty dope.

I didn't write it, why would I be offended. I think its dope that they have a terminator that can split and combine. Its a better variation than t3 and a step up from the obsolete nanotech in genesis

Underwhelming. Sarah Connor doesn't seem as cool as before. The good Terminator looks lame AF. The villain is a CW network TV tier actor. And then they feel the need to shove it in our faces how the good terminator is so bad ass and always beating the crap out of the villain. Lame.

Arnold only got 1 second in the trailer.

I know Tim Miller and James Cameron said they wanted to show these recent woke films how real feminism is done....so I am still hopeful. But in 2019 I'm just thinking enough is enough

Would it have killed them to just have John Connor as a protagonist? Really?? Terminator Salvation done right under a competent director would have been incredible.

So Skynet has sent back multiple terminators in order to prevent John Conor and his lieutenants from winning Judgement Day

Skynet and their Terminators never succeed.....

You would think that because of this Skynet would stop sending Terminators back in time because to Skynet it is a waste of resources

Why wouldn't Skynet just decide to come up with a new plan

You can't answer any of these questions because the plot/story of Terminator was never supposed to last this long

Skynet has become incompetent and a parody of itself

I could have sworn they did something similar in Terminator Salvation

They are retreading the terrible ideas hoping it becomes a good idea
