Wow, James Cameron taking on3 or 4 Avitar movies as well as 3 more Terminators.... My man is buzy.

I like the angle of her coming back older & super bad ass... She killed it in T1 & T2 & I'd expect her to kill it again. Of coarse Arnold being back is a treat.

Interesting they said it will mostly star the young actors though. I hope Arnold & Linda get some decent screen time.

This is just a cash grab not unlike what Ridley Scott has done with the Alien franchise

The actual war between the machines and humans happening IS the story. How the hell is the story over when T1 and T2 were all about trying to stop this apocalyptic future?

I never understand people's confidence in saying something will be great or terrible before it happens when there are so many unknowns. I am not claiming this movie will be great, but there is plenty that could be done to make it so.

The only reason this would get green lit is because it's a name property cash cow they can squeeze again, not because there's a story worth telling.

With Prometheus Scott at least tried doing something original and interesting with the Alien universe but the horrible writting killed the movie. Covenant focused too much on correcting the mistakes Prometheus, thusly creating a shit load of none Prometheus related mistakes. It also didn't help Scott caved in to the but where are the xenomorphs??! whiners.

Terminator franchise has been pumping up the same formula since T2*. Arnold goes back in time to stop a super advanced Skynet Terminator from killing either Sara Connor or John Connor. If he doesn't save John or Sara a chain of events is set of which leads to Judgment Day happening. The only question I think that is somewhat still left un explored is who is Arnold Terminator based off. And do not bring in that horrible deleted scenes from T3 because that didn't happen and that needs to be forgotten. For ever.

*Altough I wasn't really blown away by the movie, I enjoyed Salvations just for the sake of them moving the plot forwards and actually making it take place in the future.
