The president inherited an economy that had come a long way toward healing. During his administration, the economy has continued growing at about the same rate it did before he took office, pushing incomes, employment and output to yet higher levels.

Kind of takes the leverage away from the American worker when there are billions of dirt poor people that will work for a dollar a day. Trump is the only POTUS to even attempt to combat globalization.

I agree, greed is a major problem. But we live in a fallen sinful world. So it will always be a problem until Christ returns again.

Yeah greed is a problem. What you say makes me feel fortunate about where I live and the church community I'm fortunate to be a part of. People have helped me out, and I've helped other people out.

I get that man but when the middle class is getting squeezed out of existence there is less and less to go around and less and less to help but more and more who need the help. Charity works when an unfortunate EVENT causes someone to need help. When the problem is systemic though, and engineered that way people need help in times and circumstances when there is no reason for it, when otherwise it would not have been an issue. Less We have been headed this way for a long time but it is fabricated-- not necessary and deeply sinful.

Hey @Ripskater, I believe you are kind of missing the point. We get told by the GOP that allowing the rich to keep more money will generate more wealth for everyone else. This had been shown not to be true. While the workers are being more productive, their pay is not rising. While this is happening, the wealthy are taking larger pieces of the pie.

Surely you believe in an honest days pay, for an honest day's work. Sure we are better off than other places on earth, but we should be rising their standards of living not lowering our own.


Why should the workers be happy, barely living off of table scraps, when there is more than enough for everyone. Greed is the down fall of humanity, and right now you are advocating for wealthy people to spite their workers.

But part of our problems (and we all have them) are partially do to our sinful choices. And we will have struggles in this life.

Or until people stand against it. This can be done. We are called to fight against evil wherever we find it. This greed largely held by the super wealthy has gotten to the point of profound sinfulness. I dont mind much that some guy wants to sell his soul to the devil for money-- that is his choice.
