Strickland fumbling the bag by making himself impossible with Paramount

Did anyone actually make a big deal about this other than TS?

WWE folks aren't cutting promos about homosexuality being bad (deeply from his closet) and beating kids being good (while crying about DDP making fun of his dad beating his ass) and how racist Murica should deport and assault anyone they feel like.
Hopefully Sean learnt from that brief episode of overexposing his personal life and demons, and reels it in and goes back to bullying people and speaking his unfiltered truth.

You need guys like Strickland so you can point your fuckin fingers and say “that’s the bad guy”
Sean isn't the bad guy. He is the dumb fuck that no one needs to hear from. He is everything he rails against. Drama, whiny, crybaby. Said Fluffy is the man he wants to be like and goes out of his way to be the opposite. Makes no effort to be what he sees as a good person. Complete hyppocrite.

I think Sean did kinda fumble the bag. He can't seem to get out of his own way. He had an incredible performance and even a great post-fight interview. He could have surely got the title shot. And maybe he will still but he needs to shut the F up with the stupid comments.

Sean can say what he wants, but he is lucky to have a job. He has bashed the UFC, paramount, gays, muslims, mexicans, etc etc.. If I did that at my work I'd be fired in a second. What Sean says is not trash talking it is borderline racist / sexist. He may be doing it for attention, but there are certain lines you shouldn't cross. Dana can only protect him for so long and already seems to be growing tired of it.

You'd be fired because you're dispensible.

Iirreplaceable people can say and do the most out of pocket things.

Sometimes we even become the business owner or even better, the owner of businesses.

Paramount+ is virtue signalling here. At the end of the day, they care about views. If Strickland brings more eyeballs, they will give him more main events.

Damn near 2000, even.

I think in the WWE, they even did a promo praising John Rocker to get heat (or maybe it was Kurt Angle). He was the racist MLB closer who got into trouble for his comments on immigrants and shit. Racism was a genuine heat-generator for a time, unfortunately.

Your video isn't showing up. Racism drew heat in the 80s. It was rarely shown in 90s and 2000s and even when it was It was just cringe and the crowd was silent.

The problem isn't that UFC let's their fighters speak freely. It's that other organizations don't. Other organizations with their bullshit leftist agenda marketing shoved down our throats are worse because it's not organic.

When Strickland says something dumb, that's on him.

If the time comes that the crazy 7% alphabet gang are in an uproar over something that was said on paramount+, well I hope the execs there have the balls to tell them to touch grass.

Most of what Strickland says connects better with the middle 60% of the USA more than the NFLs half time show choice or "end racism" badge on the players helmets.
It's not that they're trying to "shove their bullshit leftists agenda" down anyone's throat. It's that they just don't want to lose money. The uncomfortable reality you're going to have to face is most people don't want to have anything to do with racism, homophobia or sexism. They don't get enjoyment out of it and find it ugly. And people tend to steer clear of ugliness be it in everyday life or mainstream media.

You want to keep your audience? Well part of that is not having your employees attack 70 percent of your viewing audience on a regular basis.

Well he's not an exciting fighter and he has a bad personality. Doesn't really matter if they're "virtue signling" their reasoning is honest. Hes nor what they want associated with their brand and for obvious reasons.

None of that matters. Do more people tune in to watch when he fights?

Even if people are watching to see him lose, that will get him more main event fights.

i have no issue with what Strickland, or anybody else for that matter, says or does. I'm just happy that the UFC is still one of the only big corporate entities on the planet that hasn't caved to censoring speech....yet.

once dana is gone. i could see strickland being blacklisted and the UFC letters in rainbow coloring while paramount tucks their dicks in a public apology letter.

Freedom of speech must be protected at all costs.

The party of:

JIMMY KIMMEL NEEDS TO DIE TAKE HIM OFF THE AIR

are now trying to say that Strickland's "freedom of speech" needs to be protected.

Holy shit are you people fucking stupid lol. Also, calling people f***ots deserves any kind of punishment, y'all can't be bigoted and dumb as fuck and think you can say shit like that whenever you want lol.

Freedom of speech, not consequences, losers.

But that's also like, a round about way of saying that it's cool to say racist and homophobic and bigoted shit as much as you want, so long as it "brings in views", which is pretty gross lol.

Strickland is a peaked in high school loser who says stupid shit.

I said the same thing when I saw Strickland crying like a little bitch just because DDP made light of his dad beating the shit out of him.

Dude is as soft as the Charmin Ultra he wipes his butt with.
Exactly, Strickland is a bitch lol he's the typical bully who dishes it out but can't take it
