This is a fair assessment but I think where people have an issue is that if Sean were saying things the other way he would be praised and they would have not have cut off his mic. If your on Paramount network, they can exercise their freedom also if they disagree. They aren't forced to air anything. Paramount deals with billions of advertisement revenue from various corporations around the world. They don't want to lose millions because of any one individual.

Think people forget you can have freedom of speech but is doesn't mean you are free of consequences for your speech.

I would be absolutely stunned if Sean's antics in the lead up and post-fight had any bearing on matchmaking. Quietly, the UFC and Paramount love the attention. To varying degrees, each simply needs to maintain a public face.

This 'meh' card with no star power has punched well above its weight in terms of attention (thanks largely to Sean) and that is not lost on the UFC or Paramount, I'm sure.

Assuming the UFC shuts down Khamzat's *ridiculous* aspirations of immediately moving to LHW, what fight will generate more eyeballs for Paramount now...Khamzat-Imavov or Khamzat-Strickland? It's not even close.
