Eagle loop pullups, lots of sets of 5 throughout yesterday, fingers are royally fucked up, these things are fucking awesome.

So..i should change the tea in my teacup every once and a while?

Polish your cup!

In other news I just got a date for my wrist surgery, it's a week on saturday. Let's hope this goes well and I'm back to lifting properly soon as possible.

Other than grip training the closest I've come to real training is playing Tekken 5:DR on my new PS3, the annoying thing is I'm not even sure I'll be able to do that after my surgery. This shit sucks.

I have however decided that if I'm going down I shal do so swinging, this will be my last chance to bend some steel for a long time, so I'm going to go after some PRs this week, I will film them and the best bend I get (PR or not) goes up on youtube. I haven'e posted a bend since my 60d nail DU and have made great progreess since then. Let's see how this goes.

You never want to see mine (especially the one at work).

I leave a couple of tea bags in it over the weekends on ocassion

Grade 5 6" bolt bent DU, will try to improve on this and resulting video will be posted soon.

Surgery was on saturday, surgeon said the damage was bad enough they had to remove a chunk of my joint capsule. I'm stuck in a bandage for two weeks and right now I can wiggle my fingers through their middle 50% of ROM but can't apply any force with them.

Looks like I'm out of training for two months+

Damn, good luck on the recovery road. For someone a bit lost in your 70 pages, what did you do to injure it?

sucks dude. Im going to have a higher total by the time you recover :)

Get well soon!

Shitty deal, man. Get well soon.

That sucks Smashy. Heal up dude. Time to veg(or is it vag?) in front of the TV.

CISSUS x100...

Thanks guys, already starting to get back a little more movement in my fingers. In two weeks I get the bandages taken off and in 6 I get it checked by my surgeon, will then make a plan for going back to lifting..

krossins - This was an old thai boxing injury, thai boxing without handwraps is not reccomended. Had it for 8-9 years, protecting it was the reason I took up strength training, unfortunately I was able to protect it from getting any worse by strengthening my wrist but could'nt regain the lost ROM. The cyst was jamming the back of my wrist,so in order to join the army I had to get it removed.

graedy - No way of telling how this'll heal, just got to have patience (something i really suck at).

devilsson - thanks for that, already took your advice from a while back and got some cissus. tv is my main plan for the next little while, makes me damn glad i shelled out on a hd one last month *gloats*

mschatz - I've had wrist urgery, they did'nt remove one of my legs :)

I'll be using this log to cover my rehab ,but then may well start a new one to chart my rebuilding process.

Ouch.

No using one of your hands for a couple of months, eh?

You know what that means...

WEIGHT MACHINE TRAINING! :)

It would be great if that was a joke, but I'll be using the leg press extensively for a while. *cries at thought of how low he's been brought*

I wasn't joking.

Working around injuries is an acceptable reason for using machines.

Working around injuries is, quite likely, the ONLY acceptable reason for using machines.

Enjoy getting to know your local leg press. :)

I'd have to disagree, there's a few prehab things where machines are worth your time, leg curls if you don't have a ghr for example.

I see a lot of zercher lifts, leg pressing and db lunges in my future.

I was just about to recommend the zercher lifts too.

Good luck with the getting better.
