.....well....seriously though, do they have any animals in Finland? Besides the mighty Reindeer of course. All I know about Finland are hot blonde girls and Feature Boy. I feel shame.

i checked the wiki and it said that formula one racing and ice hockey are the most popular sports.....boooorrrrring

From wikipedia's entry for the United States: "Since the late nineteenth century, baseball has been regarded as the national pastime; football, basketball, and ice hockey are the country's three other leading professional team sports... Boxing and horse racing were once the most watched individual sports, but they have been eclipsed by golf and auto racing, particularly NASCAR."

Swap out NASCAR for Formula One, ice hockey remains the same, golf cancels out any excitement generated by basketball or baseball, and that leaves the U.S. ahead by football alone in the sports department. We're coming out ahead here, but not by as much as one might like. :icon_chee

Blahphemy!!! (about the hockey not racing, racing can get gonzo'd by an elepant for all I care.)

Watching hockey blows, playing is enjoyable though. Then again, the only sport I consider watchable besides fighting is football, even then it's a stretch.

Once you play hockey for a while, watching it is almost as fun because you know what its like. But I cant really watch a game if I'm not going to play in the next 5-6 hours because I just sit there all anxious.

Hockey is my drug. My name is Mickey and I'm a hockeyholic.

I enjoy watching hockey more than I do fighting, I just enjoy it more for some reason.

Occasionally with my buddies that are on a men's league team. They all play on a few different teams and a few play in canada and in college. My dad also plays 3 times a week.

Cool. I'm going to be playing at San Diego State in the fall. But for now I just play in the D1 mens league. Are you from Philly? My dad grew up in south Philly and played hockey on the frozen ponds and stuff.

Good stuff man, I live just outside of philly but go to school there, so I guess you could say I live there now. I'm over in west philly though, but I fight in south philly.
