It was my first time there and I was only there for lunch (had to go back to work) so I only had one beer. I'm sure I'll be back in short order to "sample" the rest.

Leicester have won the Anglo-welsh cup, are in the semi-final of the league, and in the final of the european cup. no team has won all three in a year.

thanks for the info Smashy, i've yet to see more than 5 mins of a rugby game. one of these days if i ever see it on tv i'll give it more of a look.

While I do agree with you about Yankee football, I still have no idea why it's called 'football'. I mean, how often does one actually kick the ball during a game?
 
I actually started watching the NFL this last Autumn, fun sport.

i agree that it really shouldnt be called football. which came first? soccer or football?
 
But in that form it conisisted of a whole village worth of people attempting to carry the ball to the next village, while kicking the shit out of anyone trying to stop them....bit more like rugby really.
