What does @Overpressure think of TLJ?
It subverted my expectations!
Seriously though, let's see...
I actually did like that all the story elements I figured on were changed, even if it wasn't as satisfying.

They done a great job of creating likeable characters. Great casting. Daisy Ridley can act, she actually conveys believable emotions that make me forget it's a film, which is fantastic.

I would say dump the fan service.
I know it's instant applause because it's like shining a light on the wall for a cat, but I'm nearly done with it and it's just distracting and contrived nostalgia takes me out of the drama.

the same people still defending this shit hahahaha get a life

Take your own advice. I left this thread and defending this movie close to a week ago. It was you shit talking it then and it's you shit talking it now. Nurotic much?

Revenge of the Sith is a masterpiece.

<{monica}>

Every single scene with Palpatine/Sideous is pure gold. Mostly because McDairmed is a superb actor. The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise scene gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. Palpatine is nothing short of demonic in that scene, without ever raising his voice or issuing a threat. It's a masterclass in spiritual seduction:cool:

Definitely the best written scene in any of the prequels. And maybe the best acted. McDiarmid could have carried Ronda Rousey in that one. Though everyone else's woodenness in those movies really freed McDiarmid to ham it up.

Power...unlimited POWER!!:D

ROTS is easily the best of the prequels and over all one of my favorite SW movies. I wish they had done more with Grievous though. I always thought he was cool as fuck.

You guys are smoking some of that high grade Lucas crack

The opening scenes, fight with Anakin v Dooku and Palpatine saying "do it", "he was too dangerous to be left alive", later to be repeated by Mace Windu. This movie is sooo deep.

The conversations betwee Anakin and Palpatine were great.

We had this scene, which was METAL as f**K:

Anakin becoming Vader:

It's the star wars movie I have rewatched the most.

I think people are drinking the RLM cool aid when it comes to the prequels.

Even Shatner is getting in on the TLJ being shit debate....
