Well that was poor.

Call me sexist all you want, but these type of films don't appeal to me half as much when the lead is a woman.

Also, in Empire, when the Falcon is attached to the Star Destroyer, Han is in the cockpit trying to figure out where they can go as they don't have a hyperdrive. Finally in his computer, he sees Bespin. and then tells Leia, it's far but I think we can make it. I assumed this was a reference to fuel but could be wrong.

But if not, there are several episodes of Rebels/Clone Wars where the episodes have refuelling missions. I know that's a whole different can of worms in here, as a lot of people don't give those canon sources much thought
It could be to fuel or because the ships having problems.

One the size of the falcon I would think had generators like nuke or something we don’t know about in our tech but maybe.

Usually it’s the small ones like tie fighters, they mention. Tie fighters don’t even have hyper drive.

Even x-wings are big anough to have hyper drive and much larger range.

At the bare minimum luke flew from hoth to degobah and to cloud city from there with no refueling.

Have to watch empire again but thinking about it now I’m pretty sure they are fueling up x-wings on hoth and in a new hope

I say the same thing about girl-girl porn. Frankly I don't think it's sexist at all.

Way off topic but I can’t get into girl on girl porn. It’s much more fun to watch in real life though , but you know you are about to join in so it’s ok.

Had an ex that loved girl-girl porn, but she was bi. I couldn’t get into watching it with her the same way I could watching a chick get railed from behind as I did the same thing to her.

She was crazier than shit but I do mis her ability to bring random girls home from the bar for threesoms

Given Carrie Fisher's death IRL, why not flip the script a bit and have Leia die and Luke live on? Killing Leia off screen in between movies sucks hard, as does recasting Leia as Carrie Fisher is Leia. And they already ruled out CGI Leia. It could have been storylined easily enough to Leia sacrificing herself causing Luke to saddle up for one last go in Episode IX.

Because they need Leia and Rey to be the final heroes. It just seems so forced.

Just saw it. I guess now I know why Mark Hamill went like 3 decades being unable to find work lol

And Laura Dern was a phenomenal addition lmfao

Hes had a career as playing the voice of the Joker in multiple Batmans. Hes basically the best voice there is for it.

I was wondering today if there was a decent stream of this cuz i sure as shit wont be buying another ticket for it.
I tire of pointing out the obvious. Id like to see if ive forgotten other lousy moments so that i may keep my growing hatred nourished.

Best wtf moment in the film.

It's like poetry.

At this point, she definitely is. But TLJ made her a a Mary Sue, not Force Awakens. FA does a good job of her showing her as powerful, but she still needed wasnt able to do everything on her own. Finn helps her piloting against the Tie fighters (tells her how to avoid their tracking by staying low), Finn is there to take up Rens time after Ren knocked her out. The blaster wound, etc. Then theres the all the hints that this is not her first time using the force.

The Rian Johnson undid all that shit, and now she can pick up a light saber and kill elite trained Praetorian guards. And do basically all the force powers. Literally like 72 hours after she discovers she's force sensitive.
She’s as powerful as a Jedi without the Jedi training. That’s a problem.

Again man, you don't have to be so rude. We're just talking about a movie here. I presented a lot of canon information that 100% explains many things you questioned & makes decent arguments for some of the other things.

I do agree that stuff could've been explored on screen better... but Canon includes many resources, & you just aren't privy to that information. Doesn't make me a nuthugger for knowing that stuff... it just makes me an aware fan.

Your blind complaints about how she knew droid & wookie language are obviously answered & valid... as well as how she knew how to fix the Falcon, & how she was able to pilot the Falcon after taking a bit to get used to the difference between its actual controls compared to the flight simulators controls she had practiced with for many years.

Her ability as a staff fighter were very well known on Jakku & nobody f*cked with her. That mixed in with the fact that Kylo was trying to recruit her (not kill her) could very well explain how the light saber battle between them in TFA went down. I understand that it can be argued... but it isn't as unbelievable as you are making it out to be.

This stuff just kind of reminds me of Alien: Covenant, where seemingly all of the character development in the film took place in the four-minute shorts that were released on YouTube and not actually in the movie itself. Isn't there a responsibility to make a movie that works as a movie and not send people to books, comics and video games to patch holes that shouldn't have been there in the film itself?

These appendix materials shouldn't be needed to plug holes in the movie. They should simply add further detail to a boat that is already seaworthy.

That would have been the way to go, in my opinion.

Because all white male hero's need to die to make room for diversity! White females are ok though.

He’s also cock knocker, can’t forget about that.

Imo cock nocker was a better luke than the one we got in tlj

So, Snoke was pretty cool. Too bad what happened.
Was he Mace Windu?
