I'm more worried about the sugar part. It's ok though, I'll be eating my salad soon.

Make sure it doesn't have HFCS. A lot of fruit butters have that added to it.

It doesn't have ingredients because it's from some backwoods place. I doubt it has HFCS since it isn't mass manufactured, but who knows. I won't be eating much of it. A friend brought it into work, and I wanted to give it a try. I'd recommend it for a sweet that might not be too bad for you.

We sort of broke my son from his crib-crying by just ignoring him. If he's already been fed, burped and changed, then there are few reasons he is crying, other than for attention. I believe the term is "Self Soothing" or some shit.

That's what I did with my puppies too:icon_chee

Just let them cry until they realize that it will get them nothing. Eventually they break the habit completely. "Crying themselves to sleep" kind of deal.

hello, hello, hello, is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me....Is there anyone home?

I know this is the off topic thread aka teh pub but i dont want to start a new thread on it.

my squat is pissing me off. i keep leaning forward in the squat(i guess). although if im ever off balance i fall backwards. bah. im looking online and my squat upperbody looks nothing like other people. i think i need to be more flexible or something.

When was the last time you did high-bar, narrow stance, ATG squats?

never.

ive been practing with a broom stick today and recording, atg, high bar/low bar, pl stance, hybrid stance. ive come down to two conclusions so far.

hybrid= more weight but leaning forward.

PL stance= less weight but not leaning forward.

Fuck Pink Floyd. Fuck The Police.

Alrite, newb questions here. What are DE, ME, etc? I get the idea, but I can't figure out what they stand for.

Also, is there a difference between military press and overhead? And what makes it "strict"?

I have become comfortably numb...

And Zero, doesn't that mean your core is weak if you bend over too much while squatting? Maybe some front squats with moderately low weight or some OHS would do the trick.

I'm more of a David Gilmore fan, than a Pink Floyd fan. As a guitarist, he is way underrated.

DE= dynamic effort.
ME= maximum effort

yes there is technically a difference between military press and overhead press although no one does it. strict is also grouped into the same thing.

really there are two presses.

strict and push.

.

i dunno. my OHS work fine. front squats ill admit, core hates those.

Everybody calls overhead press "military press" for some reason. In "Starting Strength", Rippetoe says "military press" is when your feet are close together, heels touching, like you were at attention. Isn't as stable as when you spread your feet apart and therefore taxes your core a bit more.

yup, that's a "military press". most people just group it together though with strict and overhead. im going to upload a video of my shitty squats.

Nerdking actually said it could be weak quads. So front squats ftw

Yea, the top of the quads probably more I would think, which front squats would help with more. I just tried Front squats for the first time a few days ago and liked them but they hurt my wrist.

And OHS just fucking rock, so do those anyways.
