HOMECOMING Deleted Scene Further Confirms Miles Morales' Existence in the MCU

Edit: YouTube took down the video. Had to upload it myself.

Came to post this. Knew you would’ve probably covered it. I am super psyched. Does Sony have the rights to Miles Morales too?

Then you have flash, wtf happend to him? I thought flash was suppose to be this big buff all american beef cake, not some scrawny indian kid who thinks he is cool.

Because Flash is supposed to be a bully/tormentor.

Having the big jock as the bully is so passe.

Having the jerk that has rich parents that is willing to step on his friends in order to climb the social ladder is the new bully.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Sony owns Miles Morales because they're going to make an animated movie revolving around the character.

It's Official: Sony's SPIDER-MAN Animated Movie Will Focus on Miles Morales

Sony Pictures Animation officially announced today that their upcoming animated Spider-Man movie will not feature Peter Parker as the titular webslinger but instead the fan-favorite character, Miles Morales.

ComingSoon was on the scene at the SPA campus in Culver City, California this morning and were treated to a brief Spider-Man tease that showed off some concept art and a graffiti-styled red and blue spider logo.

Although Morales is under the mask, the Spidey costume appears from the footage to be more in line with the classic blue and red design. There were also some shots of Spidey chasing Prowler and a massive Green Goblin statue. Although the animation is far from finished, it appears that film will employ a unique style that combines classic comic book illustrations with CGI. During the action sequences, frames flash from CGI to having textures straight out of a comic book page.

No casting has as of yet been confirmed, but the footage did end with someone (presumably Spidey) saying, “You don’t know what you’re missing, pal!”

Little else is known about the project, but 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie filmmakers Phil Lord and Chris Miller are set to write the script and produce the film, which will be directed by The Little Prince‘s Bob Persichetti, who is joined by Rise of the Guardians‘ Peter Ramsey. Look for it to swing into theaters on December 21, 2018.

Created by Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli, Miles Morales first appeared Ultimate Fallout #4 following the death of Peter Parker. The character has some of the same powers as the original Spider-Man, but he is also capable of briefly turning invisible and even a venom sting that can paralyze his foes.

How SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Should Have Ended

Have this bluray in right now

Edit. This ended up being a lot better then I expected with some legit laugh out loud moments. I loved the Ally Sheedy vibe they gave to MJ, so much different compared to the last actresses. It wasn't perfect, the cgi in some spots looked like it wasn't any better compared to Ramis movies. But overall a great movie and Holland absolutely nailed Parker.

Props to who ever made this.

Hadn't seen it since opening weekend. Love it even more now. Bunch of stuff I didnt notice the first time around. A lot of great Queens and NYC shots.

Finally watched this film.

Absolutely horrible.
Its one long running joke after joke with no depth at all. I feel like this is the high school musical of comic films.

Flash was the dorkiest bully to ever hit the screen. No one liked him in the film but somehow he was the bully. Wtf

The new mj changing her was fucking ridiculous not to mention her character is fucking dumb.
Mj:Hey peter you came to this dumb party?
Peter: Your here too
Mj: am i
Wtf

His fat friend was dumb as fuck too

Life threatening moments followed by comedic lines equals dumb.

The action scenes were ok but nothing i havent seen.

I would say i would put this above sm3 and asm 2 but thats it.

I felt like i was wAtching one of my sons Nickelodeon shows with better graphics.

Comic movies have some low fucking standards now a days but considering how it felt like a kids film i understand why so many kids like it but anyone with half of an adult brain praising this is just weird.

Spider man is one of my favorite characters and i expected better from the mcu

Hmmm, it's strange with this movie. I recognize that it's a good movie and quite enjoyable. However, for some reason, it didn't stick with me as Spider-Man 2. Don't get me wrong, it is definitively better than both Webb's films. However, I found it kind of forgettable.

I enjoyed this movie overall, but as others have said, I think that the casting of Flash was pretty bad.

Flash Thompson is not some fem rich kid wuss, he's a meathead jock. They really, really missed the mark on that one. If they wanted to make such fundamental changes to the character then they should have just went ahead and changed his name too. They could have saved the real jock, bully Flash for when Peter goes to college.

And I also did not care for the A.I. in the new suit. It is just too out of place for Spider-Man and completely unnecessary. And as I have seen mentioned, that's already Iron Man's schtick.

I think that Tom Holland makes for a superb Peter Parker and I look forward to his continued involvement in the MCU. Favreau's Happy Hogan was great and Keaton was awesome.

I liked the new incarnation of Flash.

Bullies being a big dumb jock is so passe. I have no problem with them turning the bully character into someone that is a rich, spoiled, brat that will step on his peers to climb the social hierarchy ladder. After all, bullies today don't use their fists to intimidate, they use social media to torment their classmates/coworkers.

As for the AI.....I assume that Spiderman is going to take the helm from Tony Stark as the new "head" of the Avengers come the start of Phase 4 of the MCU.

That is the problem that I have. They did not need to "turn Flash into" anything that he isn't. They could have just introduced a new character. That wasn't Flash Thompson.

If they were dead set on Peter going to the "science high school" then they should have saved the meathead jock Flash for when Peter goes to college. That incarnation worked well in the 90's animated series.

I just finished watching this. I liked it, but it had a couple of repeating themes that drove me a bit crazy. First, Peter takes his mask off every possible chance he gets. It's supposed to conceal his secret identity, yet he's always taking it off as well as Ned talking about Peter being Spider Man in public constantly. The second, as mentioned, was Flash being the bully. What the hell was that? Who would be afraid of him? No one is taking shit off that kid. That kid would be the one getting picked on. My last thing is that i'd like to see Spider Man grow up already. Maybe i'm just a grumpy old man, but enough with the High School drama with Peter being 15. He can still be Spider Man in his 20's.

Keaton was absolutely great as The Vulture. So glad they went with a new villain. I liked the new take on Shocker too, and thought Bokeem Woodbine did a good job. He didn't go over the top with it, which worked with his abilities. Hoping Spidey ditches the AI, as he doesn't need it. I can't wait to see Infinity War.

Yes. The AI was bad. so any time spider man gets in trouble now his AI will just figure out the solution for him.

Also how dumb is it that iron man has to come in spidermans dire situations to bail him out. I want to see spider figure his own shit out.

Like i said before there never was any dire moments because either spider was getting bailed out or there were dumb fucking jokes

LOL both those movies are better than this garbage Nickelodeon film.

But if you like this heard thor is so funny
