Imigration in Europe is weird. It's often ilegal. Not brought in but people just walk from Syria to Germany by foot. They do have refugee civil rights. But people wirhout war region areas also go on a boat and hope for a new life. Is what it is.

We did eat a lot of bananas and handily used some solid resources from ofher continents.

The issue is not fertility — AI is going to replace workers over the next decade. Europe will simultaneously have LESS jobs, LESS tax payers, MORE production and MORE unemployed migrants.

They said it was to replace workers but totally missed that AI will be doing that 10x.

Waymo can't even replace taxi drivers and driving technology is decades old. But I'm sure robots that will mop up restaurant floors, clean hotel rooms, and pick blueberries are right around the corner.

Japan is a perfect case study of a large, rich country that was too racist to allow immigrant workers in to offset its aging population and we know how their economy is doing.

It experienced rapid growth through the 80s and 90s and in late 1999 peaked at #2 in the world in per capita GDP.

By mid-2012 it had dropped off the top 22 and hasn't been back since





All the other large countries (micro states and oil states don't count) on this list brought in immigrant workers.

Here is the deal. I saw a map that Europe and India are the most frutile lands world wide. Water and food are the basis for civilisation. Indians on average are poor. But they got soo much frutility they upped themselves to 1 bilion people. That is rich.
