Bball ~2+ hours

-played 7 total games of 3o3 and shot around a bit beforehand. First game I played with some old asian guy who couldnt play defense so we were man short and lost . I got on with another team after shooting for the spot and played 6 more games in a row. The first 5 I had good teammates and we owned the other teams with good inside/outside game. I was playing fairly well making my hook/scoop shots inside and a couple jumpshots here and there. The last game was a quick one, both of my teammates left and I picked up 2 small players who couldnt play worth shit on either end. The guy I had to guard was an athletic 6'3 black dude who probably plays SG as he made about 7 consecutive 20" jumpshots without a hesitation. I should have left before the last game but whatever. I was an idiot for wearing tennis shoes to play basketball and my knee wrap didnt help much as I could feel my bones in right knee shifting around on lateral movements. Also it seems like I cant escape getting injured playing bball there, today I got yet another deep scratch and elbowed in the left eye although I thankfully avoided another black eye. I may want to take up boxing/MT to decrease the risk of black eyes.

-wast feeling it today, I had a strange feeling in my pecs like they were on a verge of tearing and the weight felt heavier than it should have

-played 1 game of 21 with 2 other black dudes..held my own..

-played 1 game of 3o3 and lost...I played well however the 2 other guys couldnt make their shots and would not pass me the ball inside despite me making both shots easily on my fat asian defender. I also got into it with this fat asian guy who was trying to desperately use his fat to guard me but was getting pushed around so he started to randomly shove me out of the post with both arms to which I told him to stop. That fat mother fucker also scratched 2 of my fingers so that I started bleeding which pissed me more than it should have but it's like 3 weeks in a row. I wanted to punch him in the face ...hard....or at least ask him if he ever fucking cut his nails. On the other hand I played well, got a lot of rebounds, blocked a tall 20 something white guy who was like 6'4-6'5 twice and made both post shots. I really thought with the amount of rebounds I was getting and the post position I kept getting on the asian guy that I would be getting a ton of passes inside but no, the other two guys kept jacking 3 type shots to no avail.

You had me cracking up while I was reading you write-ups of bball. I had a similar issue a while back in jiu jitsu where someone never cut their toenails and my leg would be bleeding by the end of the night. Grross! But nice training! :P

right by the bench press. I asked jesus for inner strength not to strangle him.

-Been working quite a bit and then taking tests/interviews on the side so havent had much time/energy/desire to go lifting but forced myself to go today before work and was rushing the whole time. It was also super busy when I got there around 8pm, with parking lot full. meh
 
Psssh, asking Jesus for patience is lame. You should have prayed to a War God of your choosing and hurled his barbell loaded with 10s at him like a javelin.

...then again maybe that's a bit over dramatic.

-my buddy hurt his shoulder on DB press so I told him to go get ice and sit there for 20 min but he started bugging me to leave...i tried to get ibuprofen up front but they dont stock OTC meds....so we drove to pharmacy and I got him some ibuprofen..meh

-no spotter today, my friend decided to take another week to rest his shoulder after his injury couple weeks ago...I almost persuaded him to go today but he hates going late...

easy COC#3: right: 2 singles to within 1/3" and then forced close, hold, and fight opening for a couple sec... left: down to within 1/2" sec then forced close hold and fight opening for a couple sec....the gripper opened up right awya after FC each hand...left and right are remarkably close now....that's what happens when I neglect grip training...it was a tad better than last week when I gave it a go...

425-0+1 rep...failed 2/3 of the way....just felt way weaker today...seems strange considering this past week I had almost a complete week of rest and only 1 workout last week. I took a video of the monumental failure...last week I did 415 and failed 425 with better ROM....
