Crime Some kind of mass shooting at the Superbowl parade

A black market occurs because obtaining something legally by certain people is not practical or legal.
And it flourishes and becomes dangerours because a lax approach to regulating the items makes procuring and selling them illegally easy and profitable

And how did such an insane black market develop here?

The argument “our approach to guns has created such a large issue we shouldn’t attempt to actually regulate it” is a poor one
GUN LAWS ARE HERE, it's regulated, Violators are let free.

Enforcing current laws, with NO Signature Bonds for ANY Gun Crime, would help to protect Citizens immensely.

Very sad but true. As an independent moderate, this is precisely why I hate the left way more than I hate the right. They have spent a decade making the unfounded claim that “racism is the #1 issue plaguing America” and “racism is a public health crisis” but this kind of stuff is really the only racism we see today, and the reality is it happens to be anti-white.

I have gone through several articles and none of them mention the names, race, or photos of the assailants (besides one NY Post article which showed one photo of one of the perps).

In identical cases where the assailant is white, the name, photo, and race is mentioned constantly throughout the article.

It’s funny how asking that people get treated equally is deemed a “controversial, far right” viewpoint in 2024. Being against *actual* racism is now deemed unsavory lol

@My Spot

great post. this is why I hate the left with an intense passion as well, just self gas lighting, racist, dishonest POS.
everything you said was spot on.. had it been a white dude, we would hear ad nauseaum about white supremacy, the evils of racism and white nationalism etc.

and you're last sentence also hits the nail on the head. apparently the idea of holding people accountable for their crimes is racist.

Because its a strategy of statists to use propaganda media to seperate the population via accusations of '...ists' and '...isms.'

So if there's a 'major' news story that does not fulfill a political agenda, its treated as a minor news story at best, or completely ignored at worst.

For those who have been paying close attention to the media for decades, this isn't a surprise. Hence the coined-term from the 90s - 'Drive-By Media'.

Which specific laws need what kind of stricter enforcement?

When resorting to breaking the law is easy to succeed at that creates a large black market yes
So the laws are strong enough as a deterrent for criminals to buy them legally but too lax to stop a black market?

Appears to be something along the lines of a fight or words that led to likely a juvenile just spraying into a crowd because he was mad.
If it was a handgun i might agree, but one of the guns was an assualt rifle.

This sentence does not make sense.

The current regulations are so lax and so many guns are floating around it’s become easy for lots of folks to buy and sell on the black market.

Laws aren't lax, problem-free arrests for criminals is all too common.
The argument “our approach to guns has created such a large issue we shouldn’t attempt to actually regulate it” is a poor one
It's already regulated.

Nothing in history in any location has ever stopped illegal guns.
Which specific laws need what kind of stricter enforcement?
Every single one.

yep that was my point - how is a law so laxly enforced that it creates a black market? must mean the opposite, i.e. it is being enforced.
