When you hear about a mass shooting somewhere and immediately think "oh no, poor me", that has to be peak snowflake.

Think they were amongst the crowed which contained a tremendous amount of children. With people running every way. As it seems gunfire [ or at leadt it was thought ] from multiple directions.

One person is dead and 21 others injured — including 11 children — after a mass shooting at the Super Bowl victory parade in Kansas City, with three suspects taken into custody, police say.



Not the best situation for returning fire. I mean one shooter may have been returning fire at a active shooter. Who knows untill the details come out.

But i wouldn't want to shoot in that shit show despite liking to believe id join the attrmpt to halt it

If you do count, then why when someone shared the stats counting them, you pointed out "Sure are lots of youth and domestic incidents getting characterized as mass shootings . . . " like that is somehow a rebuttal?

What was the motivation? You're agreeing they belong in this category her but before seemed to imply they didn't.

How would gun control impact gang violence? Do you have any idea how many police officers were on-site yesterday during the parade in the name of safety that did nothing to stop this? Sometimes people are going to fight about something. Gun control isn't going to stop them from pulling out a gun.

yes and when those gang or domestic shootings have mass victims they become mass shootings, correct? They create victims out of people, often kids and women. Why disregard these victims? Gun control still effects these as well.

Suicides are gun violence. shooting yourself is a violent act with a gun by any definition, derp. Countries with stricter gun violence have lower suicide rates. Gun control effects these as well.

Those shootings are shootings. They count as shootings. Using a drive-by, gang violence or a suicide shooting to push for more useless gun control is what's so disingenuous.

All these shooting create victims of kids and women so using them to push for measures to decrease the number of kids and women shot is not disingenuous. And like I pointed out gun control in other places leads to less suicides so another whiff for you there.

Because even those who conceal carry sometimes avoid doing so in areas where they anticipate there will be dense crowds.

Even still, there were probably some there in the area, but these type if events people go in groups, so those who were armed chose to flee with their family/friends if they weren't under direct fire.

And it was still a heavily policed area so if bystanders who had guns ran toward the gunfire with their guns-in-hand may have been confused as a shooter and fired upon by the police.

Sad but true. This won't ever change. Guns will always be there - just a sad reality. I'm not anti-gun either - I own a gun - but I recognize that it isn't going to just go away.

USA does a lot of great things, but this is one issue that won't ever be fixed.
