Bagwork Some bagwork from today

I see a big difference, but you should have rest days. It's no joking around. You can train yourself to death. George Lazenby is convinced Bruce Lee did, at least partially. He collapsed once before when dubbing Enter the Dragon (shot without sound).

I think we should ad single kick the air hold position days to our workouts. As means of active recovery.

Bruce was on a lot of stimulants fat burners etc etc and I think other stuff that burnt him out he’s the definition of overkill e even in his 30”s . Back then it was a real guesswork compared to now , anyone who trains to max levels everyday will just age themselves out no matter what .

How do you not drop from boredom. I gotta mix it up and invent stuff like random timings. 5x2. 5x1 with 30 second rest. A 7 min round. A round only a specific type of strike. Ect. 30 x 3 is 2 hours of rounds. I would be so bored.
There’s no such thing as boredom training, if you aren’t doing constant heavy bag or in my case solid object work you aren’t preparing properly bc every punch you throw is a reminder of breaking someone or something on your opponent’s, I train to punch through someone not at them that will never get boring and no one gets every punch right no matter how many times you throw it or kick something heres so many angles and different tempos to work on etc etc …

Every time you hit anything it should feel like it’s your first day and get it better .

You're the only person in the world using rocks instead of a heavy bag or other bag variation

And has generated my punching power even further then it was already in fact when I heal up and find that day I’m going to post a new one to show weird ppl on here who think it’s cringe , my goal is to break or crack this 300 pounder right here .

When you hit a 200 pound heavy bag you can multiply it by 2 being it’s dead weight but it depends how you set it up ? in this case there’s no swing obviously with this and it’s reinforced by a few more rocks and cinder blocks so it stays in place bc when I hit something I want to make sure whatever absorbs that shot is not standing anymore I only wish I started this when I wasn’t in my 50”s where ultimate damage training has become addictive . Lol

I have read that too yes. he was nuts

Bruce Lee was a drug addict. My guess is that that was a major part of his early death

His mail correspondance with a actor/drug dealer was auctioned out a couple of years ago. I know Bloody Elbow wrote about it but the article seems to be deleted now. Lee took everything he could get a hold of apparently, far from the healthy lifestyle people would expect.
