We live remote. But still close enough to people and stuff like stores, school, ect.
Just the way i like it.

You got me searching for a video of Carlos Condit hitting the heavy bag. Such rhythm, it was a pleasure to the ears to hear that........still can't find it.
That is what the great Bernard Hopkins says as well. This is just my personal opinion ... Bag work should only be used to work on power, in a very isolated way. It slows your muscle memory down and does not resemble fighting an opponent, at all. If you just hit the bag you will get slower without even knowing about it.
It wasnt designed for sparring/fighting practise either (thats either actual sparring or shadow boxing). But anyway just my 5 cents.

I would definitely say you can still use it for cardio though.
I totally disagree. But it's a good angle. The bag is static and doesn't do moves, no hands no arms. But you are not supposed to just use the bag. Even than it's better than not doing it. It can swing wildy depending on how it's set up. It is a interesting point. Fighting is very different accuracy and movement wise. Still you can't go wrong spending hours on the bag. Everyone does it for a reason. Like the other guy said it's a tool, piece of equipement. It's actually the staple of fight training or one of them. This is just my personal opinion ...
