Now, you say that illegal immigration is not a problem these days. LOL. You clearly don't live where illegals are a problem. My car insurance has tripled over the last 9 years. The reason I was given was because my zip code had experienced an increase in illegal drivers with no insurance. Furthermore, almost 90 hospitals have closed in California because the cost to care for illegals was too much of a burden. That puts citizens at risk.

Just a few years ago a girl in my town was raped by an illegal. He was in his 50s. She was 14. He was let out on bail and fled to Mexico, but two years passed and he illegally crossed once again (no fence, it's easy). He returned and used a shotgun to blow the head off his now 16 year old rape victim. Surely you wouldn't tell her parents that illegal immigration stopped being an issue in the 00's, right? (Melissa Esquivel-Flores was the victim).

Well u have american born citizens shooting up schools full of american children, so if u want to twist words u could say by letting illegals in the country u are actually reducing the % of population that commits mass murder school shootings since i never heard about a mexican mowing down 20 kids in a school on american soil.

Also why does a rapist get let out on bail under american law by an american judge? Isnt a rapist considered a danger to society? I mean u had him captured, why let him go?

Does it take a year to get prototypes built and approved? How difficult is it to design a wall with sensors and access roads; you make it sound like the design for a big ticket weapon system. Designers can copy some or most of the existing perimeter defense designs used by embassies, companies, bases, institutions, other countries etc..The wall doesn't require revolutionary never before seen design.

Why? With Trump as head honcho, he could have fast-tracked it through. It didn't a year for Trump to change with US policy and authorize the US embassy moving to Jerusalem , which takes a lot of diplomatic capital and overcoming tremendous international pressure.
