Media Dana on Anthony vs Paul

Dana would put his own kids in there against Pereira if he thought he could sell it

Mickey Gall was 2-0
Mike Jackson was 0-1

Not remotely similar to Jake Paul who has never won a boxing match against a "Professional" boxer being matched against a current HW boxer fought for a legit HW title in his last fight. Forget the fact he is 30+ lbs larger. Imagine if they had booked CM Punk vs Cain Velazquez. That would be about the same.
Jake Paul at least had boxing matches. CM Punk didn't even know what MMA was lol

Joshua vs Paul is a disgrace!

Man you guys are crazy. UFC has had a couple freak fights like CM punk vs the 2 bozos, but that stuff is rare. Pride and others were more freakshows. Either way, Netflix just had Jake Paul vs Tyson and Joshua back to back. UFC would've put on Elon vs Zuckerberg, but I think anyone would've put that on.

Probably bc that was a legit fight and not fixed to last until the 6th round where the odds were crazy for it to go past it.

Fuck. It never occurred to me that Jake did way better against AJ than Francis did haha.

Randy Couture vs James Toney was basically the same level of mismatch.

It just wasn't as barbaric because Couture sang him a sweet lullaby as he choked him out inside 1 round.

I dont know. With Randy vs Toney you had a mma fight between a boxer and a wrestler, where both guys had a very clear advantage in each element. Randy was the fav because the grappler will hold the advantage in that style vs style. But it wasn't much different than other grappler vs striker fights. I wouldn't say it's a mismatch, more a favorable style match up.

With Joshua/Paul you had two in guy in the same sport using the same skill set, just one guy much much more advanced than the other. That was a complete mismatch in the sense of an elite boxer vs an amateur.

If CM Punk challenged a bunch of smaller retired strikers to grappling matches then had an mma fight with Cain.

If he was fixed why getting up like 3 times to get his jaw broken into 3 pieces? Jake Paul knew he wasnt going to win that and ran until he couldnt, Ngannou thought he could win, two very different things, also one is a 265lbs former UFC champion, the other is a 216lbs at most, youtuber turned celebrity boxer.

Long time ago men got drunk in circus events and sometimes they wanted to fight against strongman. What can you do? They are your customers so you cant kick their asses but you want them to calm down. So you use wrestling moves. You mix controlled ass kicking and good show. Times go by and we get pro wrestling scene....but some people want more. They want "real fights" and here we are today.

Tldr: stfu you bald cunt

What dana would have done is just instead give 200$k to some freshly turned 18 year old boys.

Dana has a habit of putting his mouth into gear while his brain is still neutral! Everyone liked this fight, it was entertaining. And hats off to Jake Paul for having the guts to face Anthony.
How about we have Dana White vs Jake Paul in a boxing match?

Says a guy who promotes two people giving each other a TBI with no defense allowed.
