Jones has his issues and is a proven cheat but the dude is a great fighter and if he chooses to be serious about fighting at hW ...that division is in trouble...anyone thinking otherwise is either a hater or simply doesn't understand what there watching when watching jon jones fight...

It's not impossible he does well because he is an all time great and a fierce competitor, but the obvious reason is that at this point of his career the gap seems to have narrowed at lhw and he has only squeaked by in recent fights. To think hw division is in "trouble" is silly when the LHW div is not even in trouble any more. There are likely many fighters that can match his best now... at 205. Not unreasonable to assume he will struggle even more if he moves up.

Well a judge thinks he lost vs santa n another 1 thinks he lost against dom n another thinks he lost vs gus. I think he won the first gus fight.. (proves I’m not a blind biased jon hater)

I actually think he beat santa too. I never even said I think he lost. I called it a theoretical loss because a shit ton think he lost.. he’s was 1 spec away from a loss via just 1 more dumb judge. That’s why it’s theoretically a loss because he was so razor thin close away from just 1 judge with ADD and enough people do genuinely in their minds think he lost .. enough people to make it a theoretical loss

It's hard to know what he would would look like at HW if he ever actually fights again, but the 223lb man that stepped in the cage to fight DC in their first fight would beat anyone ever IMO. His closest fight would be against the other man in that cage that night.

I would pick both of those fighters to wrestlefuck Francis or Gane all day and twice on Sundays.

Because he is trading what would make him successful at HW to come in as a big HW. He doesn't need to be massive. His way to victory was to continue to use his length and take 5 round decisions from people with superior cardio and opportunistic takedowns. Instead he seems to be trying to come in as someone with KO power.

He doesn't need to stack on weight. It will take away the advantage he has with his speed. He has trained for years with Mir,Arlovski and Overeem to name a few. Only he knows how he went, but the want to add heaps of weight is concerning.

His style should change at HW. He should have added a little weight and gone up when DC was champ.

Remember when Mir blew himself up like a balloon for the second Brock fight. Didn't go so well.
