I disagree but for me i just would like an islam arman and an islam ilia fight before all of this. I hate that he's even at 70

You got the timeline wrong.

Makhachev was scheduled to fight JDM, and THEN we got Topuria vs Oliveira for the LW title, fights just happened in a different order.

Arman vs Topuria was never a thing, and this hasnt changed, Pimblett was mentioned against Topuria for a while now.

Usman is riding an incredible 1 fight winning "streak", coming off 3 loses, one at MW and short notice, but still, he isnt the best skill wise out there, he is the best name.

No we're not but there really isn't one solidified contender at WW right now so I don't get why Islam fighting Usman is the end of the fucking world. If Islam actually stays at WW I'm sure he'll fight (and beat) all those young guys anyway. Let him fight Usman and then maybe Shavkat while a guy like Morales, Prates or Garry emerges as the clear next. You think Islam is planning out a road map to avoid everyone? He literally just moved up and got the belt dude, relax.

What is not "solidified" about Morales and Garry? Can you please specify?

Usman is the guy who has 1 win since 2021 against #10 guy in the division. There's AT LEAST 3 guys ahead of him in line by merit. What's with the shilling?
 
It's the ol' superfight chase that we look for. UFC used to give it to alot more often in zuffa. Now with TKO unless your in the female division (who cares anymore) we don't get those pairings much anymore

Yes, but Islam one made sense since he already gave an opportunity to the 145 champion twice, and was seeking his own second belt, and he would get nothing out of beating another 145 champion.
