Probably have to go Sixth Sense.

If this is the semi-finals then why are the ones with the first and third most votes going head to head?

Always thought 6th sense slightly overrated and Signs underrated. Voted Signs

I should have been more clear. Usually first and fourth face each other.

Yeah that's true, usually it is that. But I thought I change it up a bit for this one. Good eye though. : - )

I think signs is overrated. 6th sense was great experience first time when I had no idea about the twist.
With Signs it depends who you ask. I think it scores a lot of points on memorability, loses a bunch on logic, which is basically all of his films, they just became less memorable and more illogical. There are scenes in Signs that have stuck with me forever, but it's also dumb as fuck that these aliens travelled all this way to get foiled by a thin wooden door and a dude with a baseball bat. Every time he appears in one of his movies he makes it worse, too.
Sixth Sense I think is objectively his best movie, which is pretty incredible so early in his career.

6th Sense is actually a good movie with real characters. I think that's why I despise Shamalamagmdingdong so much. He had the potential to be a good director and he threw it away to be the twist guy.

He also has the second most cringe cameos after Stan Lee.

I’m torn on this one. But I think Sixth Sense barely takes it for me. It’s pretty close.

Despite his faults I’m always a fan of Gibson. Dude brings it when he’s got good stuff to work with.

But I think overall Sixth Sense is just slightly better.

I can’t believe Signs made it to the finals. Sherdoggies got this one horribly wrong

Sixth Sense was consistent all the way through. Signs was not. I prefered unbreakable over signs tbh.

I remember the last time I watched signs I died laughing when he was saying goodbye to his wide lol it was so cheesy and silly

Signs started off good, but fell apart in the last couple acts.

The Sixth Sense is a great film from start to finish. And that ending, which may feel trite now, is legendary.

It also has Toni Collette giving another phenomenal, underappreciated performance (like Hereditary).

I do feel like the story of M Knights career is mostly on his writing becoming increasingly sloppy, The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable I feel like he hides any plotholes effectively enough that ca enjoy the movies well enough, Signs they start to become a bit more obvious and since then its gotten worse and worse.

Sad thing is I think he's remained quite a talented director thoughout, just one dealing with increasingly flawed material.

I feel like one way he could have gone is to play up the quirkiness, a lot of the best stuff in Signs I think is the semi comedic stuff around Phoenix's character IMHO.

Signs is my favorite M Night film of all time.
