I did enjoy Raiders as a kid but Jaws was a better film.

I went with Jaws because it had a lasting impact and a few more memorable scenes. Hard decision.

Jaws just barely for me. It’s such an absolutely iconic movie and still holds up so well. The film making that went into it to account for having such a finicky creature design and puppet just makes it so spectacular.

I vote Jaws because of the impact of that movie, beyond the viewing experience.

I think nothing has driven fear of open water and the oceans, in so many, more than that movie. I know so many people so terrified of what they cannot see in deep water that they refuse to experience it and go in.

Raiders GOAT for me. Jaws didn't strike my fancy nearly as much as it seems to have for others. Not that it's bad, but it was just a solid movie to me and not super memorable. By the time I saw it I knew sharks existed and had seen nature documentaries so it was whatever I think lol. It was like, "oh, a movie about a shark being an asshole. I mean, that happens. I guess this one is just a bigger asshole than real ones?"

Raiders is more fun an more rewatchable. Jaws had the better performances. Raiders wins for me as it's was just more enjoyable

I never seen Raiders before outside of the iconic scene with the face melting. I saw Temple of Doom many times though on TV. I saw Jaws but I am not sure which one. Which one was the one with the exploding oxygen tank?
