I know no date has been set but man I can't keep coming on here to check to see if it is up and I know I don't want to miss out on the Goldenstate.. lol I don't know why but I really like the Goldenstate design and want to try one Shoyoroll and then move on back to Fuji's. I'm a bang for the buck person but I want to try one of the more expensive gi's to make sure I am not missing out.

It makes a lot of sense. But personally I love a good fitting gi because if it makes me feel better then I perform better. Money isn't as much of an issue as the fitment and quality of the gi. Whatever works to get me motivated is my philosophy.

exactly! i come to this thread just to check for any news of release dates everyday.. afraid that it'd come out during the week which i'll be on holiday and therefore miss the chance to pre order..

Hey man I'm about the same as you 5'8 130llbs. A1 Syr pants are perfect on me, but the jacket was very large/loose. I'm probably gonna try a step down.

FWIW, I got (not bought) a Lucky Lovato and it was the WORST gi I've ever owned. Zero constancy between batches, weird cuts, shrunk weird....just a total Pakistani made POS. Most people I know who bought these $300 pieces of cotton hate them.

And I know SYR isn't Lucky, and they fit/wear better, but the weird Hypebeast like following is just gay.

Shoyoroll doesn't cost any more than an Atama Mundial 9, Koral Classic, Koral MKM or nearly very other quality gi out there. I don't know where you get $200 from.

what does pakistan have to do with anything? lots of companies produce there gi's there.

there's no hype behind shoyoroll, they make quality gi's that aren't more expensive than brands like venum or koral.
