Quick question. Is this SYR [Golden State] kimono really worth my money? I honestly own two durable gis that will last another year and a half, at least. I've read so many good things about SYR, though, I'm tempted to pre-order. What to do you guys think?

Really? Hmmm, ever since SYR introduced the A0 I've wondered whether that would be a better fit for me then the A1. I'm 5'6 145 pounds, and an A1 in Koral Light that fits just right. Interesting...

Might buy the Golden State for myself, since it is on preorder right after my birthday. They seem pretty hard to get honestly, it'll be a mad rush to get the gi into the shopping cart and through check out before they all disappear.

FWIW, I'm an inch shorter than you and the A1 pants on the Superlite RS (which has similar sizing to the 450) were way too short after a couple of washes and hang drying. I think the A0's might be in capri territory on you. Tough call.
 
I found a pretty good deal on the SYR batch 6 blue gi and I honestly think it looks better than the batch 7 golden state. Any advice on which one to go with?
 
anyone know what a good size on a SYR would be for me...in my atama mundial 9 and keiko raca they both are a4s..

I'm 6'3 215lbs...any help would be awesome
 
I would go one size up to account for shrinkage.

if i pre-order the shoyoroll from budovideos, how long would it usally take for the gi to ship? i dont want to preorder the gi and wait like a month to get it. thanks

with batch six it was roughly 2.5 months from pre-order to delivery. getting a shoyoroll is an exercise in patience. i'm definitely not as excited this time around. it's a nice gi, but it's best to have a 'it'll happen when it happens' mindset.
