lol I eat quite a bit but nothing happens. Use to take gainer and only little results. Asian genes I guess. I'm pretty strong for my size so it's an advantage at times. Just an example, at my prime (8lbs heavier) I use to bench 225 8 times, but I never maxed before. Now I am just focusing on bjj and not worried about lifting. Sorry to sound like I'm tooting my own horn but I just needed to defend myself in case you thought I was frail for being Asian and not the standard. ;)

Same height, I'm about 155 though. Ignore guys like that... chances are you can beat his ass.
 
Looks like I will be going with an Atama for now. Vince replied to my message that they won't be available (even for pre-order) by the end of the month. Atama deal is too hard to pass up.

Maybe I will get lucky with batch 8 or 9
 
On September 10th, the 7th Son and Golden State will be available for pre-order on nhbgear.com. :)

I'm interested in this gi, but I've heard these kimonos run a bit on the big side. Is that true? I'm 5'7 135 pounds. Atama, Koral, and Dragao A-1 sizes all fit me too big. I have a Koral Light in A-0 that fits like a glove. Would I be okay with an A-0?

A0 is the way to go.
 
I am very disappointed in batch 6 shrinkage of the pants, I washed them in cold water and hung dried. I am 5'9 and 176lbs, according to the sizing an A2 should fit me even with a little shrinkage, sad part is that I only got to wear them both twice and now the sit in my closet. Jacket fits me perfect!! With the new batch coming out, I am willing to give Shoyoroll one more chance, but I dont know what to order A2H or A3?
 
anyone know what a good size for me would be...i'm 6'3 215lbs....pretty long arms and legs...lookin to buy my first

Are you sure it was Batch 6 and not the Comp 450 (white with yellow stitching)? Batch 6 fits me perfectly. Best fitting gi i've owner. However, the Comp 450 seemed to be a different cut and those pants did shrink quite a bit. I am actually selling my comp 450 to drum up some cash to grab up 2 of the new Batch 7s when they hit. Even sellin my Mundial 9 lol.

White with the Pea green colored logo and the blue with gray trim. The ripstop pants on the white gi shrunk in length and are tight around the upper thighs. The light weight non ripstop blue pants are not too bad, but still shrank a little. I NEVER put my gis in the dryer, always hang dry them. Like I said, tops are great!! I own 2 different version of the Atama Mundial A3 and they have never shrank and fit very nice, I guess I am comparing the fit of the Atama pants to the Shoyoroll as a reference.

if you have muscular legs the SYR ripstop pants can be a drag. ripstop doesn't give *at all* while rolling. i replaced them with SYR cotton twills. don't have the same color stitching, but still have the slim cut and since they're cotton they flex a lot more. much much better in my opinion.
