Shara exposed by old guy

Y'all are so dramatic. He did not get exposed. It's not like he got knocked out, finished, or rocked and wobbled all over the place. I mean come on. We are looking at a 29-28 score card.

He can learn a lot from this fight and will probably come back stronger.
Giving Shara a round is very generous.

He landed like one significant strike the entire fight, he missed on like 100 leg kick attempts, he got pretty fucking exposed in the aspect of MMA thats supposed to be his only real strength..

What are you talking about? Exposed? He lost to a phenomenal striker with a strange style in MVP. Is not like he just can't come back from this. He didn't get exposed, this doesn't negate his previous performances. If you don't like the guy, just say you don't like him.

I agree, but this to me is just a performance that he can learn from and come back stronger. MVP is a weird style to face. No shame in losing to MVP.
He needs to work on his boxing and clinch work to fall back on, if his kicks and footwork arent enough. When he was punching he was landing, but Shara's style isnt really reliant on throwing punches too much. He also needs to work harder to be offensive in the clinch, there was oppurtunities there and he didnt do much with them.

So def things to work on, not just for a fighter like MVP, but, he has to have stuff to fall back on.

I agree with what you said, I'm looking forward to him coming back. I know he will come back and proved. If you are going to have a loss, this is the type you want. You can learn from it and you aren't on somebody's highlight reel getting finished. And as far as taking damage, it doesn't look like it was a career-changing beat down of any sorts.

Yeah that's what I mean, I agree with you on that also. It just seems like a lot of people here are making it seem like he took some crazy beat down or something.

I don't like the guy, AND he got exposed.

Also striking was his thing, we all know as soon as he got a good wrestled he was getting wrestlefucked anyway.

He was being touted as the next big thing but I never saw it, I thought he was losing to that Petrosyan guy until the double spinning shit.

He got exposed by some random fat dude at a mall, but then waited behind the wall to sucker punch him, fuck him.

Didn't look too bad for a pirate.
Imagine how good he would be if he was an actual fighter!

Well I respect your honesty. I don't think this performance makes him a bum, but certainly it halts any talk of title contention. In the words of UFC president Dana White, let's see how this thing plays out.

Of course he's not a bum, I never said that.

But he was being touted as the next big thing by some morons on here, even thought he clearly had a weak ground game.

But yeah, obviously a UFC level fighter who beats most dudes outside the top 10.

Gotcha, I can see him maybe cracking the top 10 but not doing a whole lot from there.

I picked MVP to win because he’s just a bad match up for Bullet.

Bullet didn’t have much to fall back on when striking wasn’t going his way and his striking itself while being entertaining, still needs some work to be effective against the next level of fighters IMO. I remember one guy just eating his leg kicks without even reacting to them, let alone attempting to check them. That made Bullet look good, but it made me think it made that fighter look more so bad considering he was giving his best impression as a punching bag.

Not an attempt to crap on Bullet. He can be exciting, but he’s showing holes in his game that hopefully he corrects for his sake. Not his fault he was being hyped up prior though. He has a cool pirate look with one eye lol. Fans like it.

MVP is crazy fast, yes I know he is quite old but he is still lightning fast, Holland for all his flaws in the grappling is pretty fast in the striking but even he looked slow against MVP. I don't think Shara realised how fast he actually is
